Roserio

Vialba is a district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 8 administrative division of the city. It is located north of the city centre, adjacent to the municipality (comune) of Novate Milanese. Until 1841, Vialba itself was an autonomous comune.

The Cimitero Maggiore di Milano ("Greater Cemetery of Milan"), also known as Cimitero di Musocco ("Musocco Cemetery"), is the largest cemetery of Milan, Italy. The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) general assembly in Paris decided in favour of Milan on March 31, 2008. On November 23, 2010, the event was announced by the BIE. Expo 2015's theme was "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life".

Musocco (Lombard: Musòcch [myˈzɔk]) is a district of Milan, located in the north-western outskirts of the city, belonging to Zone 8. Until 1923 Musocco was an independent comune, to whom also belonged the localities of Boldinasco, Garegnano, Quarto Oggiaro, Roserio and Vialba. The name comes from the word musa, which means marsh, indicating that the area was crossed by numerous streams and springs which formed overflowing of swamping. The main waterway is the river Pudiga. In Milan the name "Musocco" is also often referred to the Main Cemetery of Milan.

Garegnano Charterhouse, also known as Milan Charterhouse (Italian: Certosa di Garegnano or Certosa di Milano) is a former Carthusian monastery, or charterhouse, located on the outskirts of Milan, Italy, in the Garegnano district. It now houses a community of Capuchin Friars.

Cascina Merlata is a district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, part of the Zone 8 administrative division of the city. It is adjacent to the Expo 2015 exhibition site and borders the districts of Roserio, Gallaratese and Musocco, as well as the municipality of Pero.

Baranzate (Milanese: Baranzaa [barãˈtsaː]), formerly a frazione of the neighboring comune of Bollate, is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan, in the Italian region of Lombardy, about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Milan. It was created in 2004 after its previous establishment, in 2001, was declared unconstitutional. Baranzate is bordered by Bollate to the north and northwest, Novate Milanese to the east, and Milan's Roserio district to the south and southwest.

Milano Certosa is a surface railway station in Milan, Italy. The station is on the north-west part of the city between the Quarto Oggiaro and Musocco neighborhoods. Its name comes from the Certosa di Garegnano. The station is located on Via Antonio Mambretti. The train services are operated by Trenord. The station is the oldest still operating in Milan, and the only one established by the Austrian Empire before the unification of Italy.

Novate Milanese railway station is a railway station in Italy. Located in the Milan–Saronno railway, it serves the town of Novate Milanese. The ancient station of 1879 was demolished in 1992, when the actual building was opened.

The Zone 8 of Milan, since 2016 officially Municipality 8 of Milan, (in Italian: Zona 8 di Milano, Municipio 8 di Milano) is one of the 9 administrative divisions of Milan, Italy.It was officially created as an administrative subdivision during the 1980s. On 14 April 2016, in order to promote a reform on the municipal administrative decentralization, the City Council of Milan established the new Municipality 8, a new administrative body responsible for running most local services, such as schools, social services, waste collection, roads, parks, libraries and local commerce.The zone lays on the north-western part of the city.
