Tullibody Old Kirk

Tullibody (Scottish Gaelic: Tulach Bòide) is a town set in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies north of the River Forth near to the foot of the Ochil Hills within the Forth Valley. The town is 1.8 miles (2.9 km) south-west of Alva, 1.8 miles (2.9 km) north-west of Alloa and 4.0 miles (6.4 km) east-northeast of Stirling. The town is part of the Clackmannanshire council area. According to a 2012 estimate the population of Tullibody is approximately 8,710 or 9,530 residents including the area of Cambus.

Cambus railway station served the suburb of Cambus, Clackmannanshire, Scotland from 1852 to 1968 on the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway.

Cambus (from Scottish Gaelic An Camas, meaning the bend in the river) is a village near Alloa, Clackmannanshire. It is located to the south of Tullibody, to the northwest of Alloa, and about 4 miles east of Stirling, across the river. It lies on the River Devon, near its confluence with the River Forth.

HMP Glenochil is a prison located near Tullibody, Scotland. It houses male offenders of High, Medium and Low security classifications. The prison does not accept prisoners directly from the courts but commits prisoners who have been previously convicted and located in other prisons, primarily HMP Perth, HMP Edinburgh, HMP Barlinnie and HMP Grampian. The prison has a design capacity of 670 prisoners and in May 2010 held 668 prisoners (284 short-term, 384 long-term). The governor is Natalie Beal.

Lornshill Academy is a six-year comprehensive school situated in Alloa, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Approximately 1030 pupils are enrolled with the school. Lornshill currently employs approximately 80 teachers and around 30 support staff. Lornshill is currently associated with seven primaries – Craigbank, Clackmannan, Banchory, Fishcross, Deerpark, Abercromby and Saint Serfs.

Broomhall Castle is a mansion house originally called Broom Hall and was built in 1874 by John Foukes and Frances Mackison for James Johnstone. It is situated in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, Scotland on the Ochil Hills and consists of three storeys and a tower. In 1906 the wealth of the builder declined, and the Castle was sold to an Italian Riding School. In 1910 it became the Clifford Park Boys Prep School. On Friday 28 June 1940 the building caught fire whilst the boarders were camping in the grounds. Despite the efforts of the Alloa Fire Brigade the building was gutted. There was a spectacular scene when the roof fell in, sending a shower of sparks heavenwards. It was left in ruins until 1985 when it was rebuilt and turned into a nursing home. In 2003 it was purchased by the current owners, who turned it into a small hotel. It is currently in use as a 16 bedroom hotel, with restaurant and lounge. In the summer of 2022 Broomhall Castle went into liquidation.

Menstrie Castle is a three-storey manor house in the town of Menstrie, Clackmannanshire, near Stirling, central Scotland. From the early 17th century, it was home to Sir William Alexander, 1st Earl of Stirling, who was instrumental in founding the colony of Nova Scotia. It was later owned by the Holburn or Holborne family, who were created Baronets of Menstrie in 1706. The castle was restored in the 20th century, won a Civic Trust award, and now incorporates holiday accommodation, private flats and museum. The museum previously opened 2 daysa week by the National Trust for Scotland. is now open by request through the Menstrie Community Council.

Tullibody Old Bridge, over the River Devon near Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, dates from the early 16th century. Disused after 1915, it was restored for use by walkers and cyclists in 2003.

Menstrie (Scottish Gaelic: Meanstraidh) is a village in the county of Clackmannanshire in Scotland. It is about five miles (eight kilometres) east-northeast of Stirling and is one of a string of towns that, because of their location at the foothill base of the Ochil Hills, are collectively referred to as the Hillfoots Villages or simply The Hillfoots.
