Sopela (Bilbao metro)

Sopela, formerly known as Sopelana, is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. The town is roughly 820 hectares in size, located in the comarca Mungialdea on the north east side of Bilbao and due east of the Nervión river estuary. In the municipality, other former towns like Larrabasterra were annexed to make Sopela larger. The population is 13,878 people, as recorded in the 2019 census. The area of Sopela is situated among green hills and beaches. This makes it a very attractive suburb of Greater Bilbao, with a short commute of 35 minutes on the metro.

Larrabasterra is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Larrabasterra, in the municipality of Sopela. The station opened as part of the metro on 11 November 1995.

Berango is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the region known as "Greater Bilbao" in the autonomous community of Basque Country, Spain with 8,9 km² of extension and a population of 7,195 inhabitants according to the census of the 2019. Its density reaches 174,81 inhabitants per square kilometre.

Urduliz is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the municipality of Urduliz. Originally an overground station belonging to the Bilbao-Plentzia railway, the station was rebuilt and put underground in 2017.

Barrika (Spanish: Barrica) is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, Spain, in the autonomous community of Basque Country. It is considered one of the oldest municipalities of Biscay. It was founded by Sancho Vela. As it is placed next to the sea and near Bilbao, its population has grown a lot in the last part of the 20th century. Barrika belongs to the comarca of Mungialdea. There are about 1,539 inhabitants in the municipality and it covers 7.8 km2.

Berango is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the municipality of Berango. The station opened as part of the metro on 11 November 1995.

Urduliz (Spanish: Urdúliz) is a municipality located in northern Biscay, Spain. While connected to Greater Bilbao both by the Bilbao metro and BizkaiBus, the municipality is part of Mungialdea. The municipality shows a mixture of industrial and rural qualities, being divided in three separate villages or neighbourhoods. According to the 2019 census, it has 4,456 inhabitants.

Ibarbengoa is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighbourhood of Andra Mari, in the municipality of Getxo. The station was constructed to serve the northernmost part of Getxo and to become the northern terminus of services terminating in Getxo. The station currently serves as the northern terminus for select metro services. The station opened on 15 June 2020.

Velódromo de Fadura is a sports facility dedicated to the practices of cycling and rugby union, which forms part of Getxo Kirolak Fadura, in Getxo (Biscay).The facilities include athletics tracks, football and field hockey fields, pools, covered sports hall, gymnasiuma and tennis pitches, which were built in the early 1960s.The side stand covered of the velodrome can house 510 seating spectators. Its oval track for bicycles is made of concrete. In the rugby field surrounded by the track, Getxo Rugby Taldea plays its home matches of the División de Honon de Rugby. Its surface is natural grass.

Club Deportivo Getxo is a Spanish football team based in Getxo, Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country. Founded in 1927 it plays in División Honor Bizkaia, holding home matches at Campo Municipal de Fadura, with a 3,500-seat capacity.

Plentzia is the northern terminus of line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the municipality of Plentzia. The station opened as part of the metro network on 11 November 1995, although it had already been serving as a railway station since the 19th century.

Bidezabal is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Algorta, in the municipality of Getxo. The station opened as part of the metro on 11 November 1995.
