Zogno (Bergamasque: Dógn) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Bergamo. Zogno borders the following municipalities: Algua, Alzano Lombardo, Bracca, Brembilla, Costa di Serina, Nembro, Ponteranica, San Pellegrino Terme, Sedrina, Sorisole. Among the sites in the church are the 17th century church of San Lorenzo Martire and the modern-style church of the Santuario di Maria Santissima Regina.

Sorisole (Bergamasque: Surìsel) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,507 and an area of 12.3 square kilometres (4.7 sq mi).The municipality of Sorisole contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Petosino and Azzonica. Sorisole borders the following municipalities: Almè, Bergamo, Paladina, Ponteranica, Sedrina, Villa d'Almè, Zogno. Part of Sorisole's territory is part of Parco dei Colli di Bergamo and is crossed by river Quisa.

Maresana is a hill north of the city of Bergamo, in Lombardy, Italy. Its maximum elevation is 546 metres above sea level. Maresana belongs to the cities and villages of Bergamo, Ponteranica, Torre Boldone, and Ranica. Its modern name was mentioned for the first time in the thirteenth century; it had previously been called Monte Torsillio. In the past, the hill was planted with chestnut trees whose nuts local farmers sold in the Bergamo market. Today the woods are in good condition because of the preservation work of the staff of the Parco Regionale dei colli di Bergamo (Bergamo Hills Regional Park). The Church of San Marco alla Maresana (St Mark's on Maresana) was built on the hill in 1619. Since the 1950s, some houses for wealthy Bergamaschi have also been built on Maresana.

Ponteranica (Bergamasque: Potranga or Put de Ranga) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) northwest of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,866 and an area of 8.4 square kilometres (3.2 sq mi).Ponteranica borders the following municipalities: Alzano Lombardo, Bergamo, Ranica, Sorisole, Torre Boldone, Zogno. A part of its surface is occupied by Maresana Hill. The source of Morla is in Ponteranica. Part of Ponteranica's territory belongs of Parco dei Colli di Bergamo

As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 2,559 and an area of 6.0 square kilometres (2.3 sq mi).Sedrina borders the following municipalities: Brembilla, Sorisole, Ubiale Clanezzo, Villa d'Almè, Zogno. Sedrina is the birthplace of Felice Gimondi.

Ranica (Bergamasque: Ranga or La Rànga or Laranga or Ràniga; Medieval Latin: Larianica) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 5 kilometres (3 mi) northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,984 and an area of 4.2 square kilometres (1.6 sq mi).Ranica borders the following municipalities: Alzano Lombardo, Gorle, Ponteranica, Scanzorosciate, Torre Boldone, Villa di Serio. Part of Ranica's territory is part of Parco dei Colli di Bergamo. The town contains the Church of the Santissimi Sette Fratelli Martiri.

Valverde is a quarter in the city of Bergamo, located on the north side of the hill of the città alta. It has a population of approximately 1,000. It contains a Roman Catholic parish with a church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The parish church was damaged by a blaze in November 2006. The Castello di Valverde in its present form is a 16th-century structure on the site of a medieval castle.
