East End Cemetery is an historic African-American cemetery located at 50 Evergreen Rd., in the East End of Richmond, Virginia.

Mankin Mansion, also known as Brickworks or as Irvin Place, was built in 1924 as a home and showplace by and for Edward Thurston Mankin, a brick manufacturer. The architecture of the mansion, inside and out, and of walls, benches, and structures on the grounds, includes many features ingeniously implemented in brick.The building's architecture is Georgian Revival, a subtype of Colonial Revival architecture. The house is featured in Foundations in Time II: More of Henrico’s Architectural Treasures, a Henrico County TV film available for viewing online. The mansion was saved from deterioration by its purchase by new owners who renovated it in 2004 and operate as a wedding and events venue.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. In 1993, the NRHP listing included five contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two contributing structures.

Armstrong High School, part of the Richmond Public Schools, is a high school located in Richmond, Virginia, United States, with grades 9–12. The school was founded in 1867 as the Richmond Normal and High School by the Freedmen's Bureau and was eventually incorporated into the Richmond school system in 1876. The school's namesake is former Union General Samuel Chapman Armstrong, a white commander of a U.S. Colored Troops (USCT) regiment during the American Civil War. General Armstrong later founded Hampton Institute, a historically black college now known as Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Armstrong was a mentor of Booker T. Washington.

The Oakwood–Chimborazo Historic District is a national historic district of 434 acres (176 ha) located in Richmond, Virginia. It includes 1,284 contributing buildings, three contributing structures, five contributing objects and four contributing sites. It includes work by architect D. Wiley Anderson. The predominantly residential area contains a significant collection of late-19th and early-20th century, brick and frame dwellings that display an eclectic mixture of Late Victorian, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival styles.It was listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register on September 8, 2004, and the National Register of Historic Places on March 18, 2005.

Nathaniel Bacon School is a historic school building located in Richmond, Virginia. The structure was built in 1914 based on a design by Charles M. Robinson, supervising architect, and William L. Carneal, architect. The Colonial Revival building is a 2+1⁄2-story brick structure located in Richmond's Oakwood/Chimborazo Historic District. The school was "a focal point of the Chimborazo neighborhood." The school was named for Nathaniel Bacon, the leader of Bacon's Rebellion. It served as an elementary school in the Richmond Public Schools from the time of its opening in 1915. In 1958, it was converted for use as a school for African-American students. In 1971, it was converted into a junior high school and renamed the East End Junior High School Annex. The building ceased operating as a school in the 1980s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

East Highland Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Henrico County, Virginia, in the United States. The population was 15,131 at the 2020 census.
