Henlys Corner is a brief combining junction of the A1 and the North Circular Road in North London, in the middle of which is the crossroads of the A598.

Finchley United Synagogue, more commonly known as Kinloss Synagogue, is a synagogue in Finchley, north London. An Orthodox congregation, it is a member of the United Synagogue.The main synagogue holds up to 1,400 people and opened in 1967.There is a Persian Sephardi synagogue within the building.

College Farm is the only farm site in Finchley, in the London Borough of Barnet. It currently trades as an equestrian and pet store. It is located in Regents Park Road, close to Henlys Corner on the North Circular Road. It has two residential roads running alongside it; Allandale Avenue and Fitzalan Road.

London Seminary (formerly London Theological Seminary) is an evangelical vocational training college located in Finchley, London, England.

Avenue House (also known as Stephens House) is a large Victorian mansion (Grade II listed) situated on East End Road in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. Built in 1859 on land formerly known as Temple Croft Field, it was acquired in 1874 by ink magnate and philanthropist Henry Charles Stephens ("Inky") who later enlarged and improved the house and grounds with advice from well-known landscape gardener Robert Marnock (1800–89). On his death in 1918 Stephens bequeathed the estate in his will to "the Urban District Council of Finchley, subject to the condition that the same shall be open for the use and enjoyment always of the public under such reasonable regulations as may be made by the said Council from time to time for the care and upkeep thereof..." and ownership passed to Finchley Urban District Council; its freehold is now owned by a registered Charity, 'The Avenue House Estate' Charity number 210345, of which the principal trustee is the London Borough of Barnet. The house and ten acres of grounds have been leased to the Avenue House Estate Trust, registered charity 1093908, for a period of 125 years from 2002. It is also home to the Finchley Society and their archive. Since January 2014 the estate and its commercial activities have been promoted as Stephens House and Gardens.

Etz Chaim Yeshiva was a "Lithuanian" Orthodox yeshiva, now advanced kollel, in Golders Green, London, England. It operated as a yeshiva from the early 1900s through the 1990s, when it repositioned to function as the latter. It has several prominent alumni including Commonwealth Chief Rabbis Immanuel Jakobovits and Jonathan Sacks.

The Barnett Homestead is a grade II listed building in Erskine Hill, Hampstead Garden Suburb, in north London, England. Designed by architect John Soutar, the building comprises 12 apartments intended for soldiers' widows and their children, and its construction was funded by shipbuilder and philanthropist Sir Alfred Yarrow in 1916. The building was given its name as a memorial to clergyman and social reformer Samuel Augustus Barnett, who was a friend of Yarrow's. It was listed in November 1996. The building is symmetrically designed in a Georgian style, though Soutar adopted a cottage vernacular with dormer windows. A metal plaque on the west face of the south wing bears the inscription: "These cottages were built by Sir Alfred Yarrow Baronet out of his great respect for and in affectionate memory of his friend Canon S. A. Barnett, whose life was spent in assisting all with whom he came in contact to become both nobler and happier."Barnett was married to Henrietta Barnett, who founded The Institute (later renamed Henrietta Barnett School) nearby in 1911.

Pardes House Grammar School is a 10–16 independent, Orthodox Jewish, secondary school for boys in Finchley, Greater London, England. It was established in 1976 and since 2001, it has occupied the former Christ's College school building which is a grade II listed building that was constructed in 1860.

Saint Mary and Archangel Michael Church is a Coptic Orthodox church on Cranbourne Gardens, Temple Fortune, north London. It is housed in a building built in stages between 1915 and 1962 as the Church of England church of Saint Barnabas, Temple Fortune, whose records are held at the London Metropolitan Archives.

St Mary-at-Finchley Church is the Church of England parish church for Finchley. It is located in Hendon Lane, in the town centre, near Finchley Library.

The "Finchley Gap" (or "Finchley depression") is a location in north London which today lies, and which for much of the Pleistocene epoch has lain, between higher ground to the north-west (Mill Hill) and south-east (Hampstead Heath). The term "Finchley Gap" has been used in archeological literature. "Finchley depression" has been used in geomorphological literature. Until the 1960s, it was supposed that the River Thames once flowed through the gap, on a loop running from Harefield to Ware.However, no deposits which were unambiguously of Thames origin were ever found along that line. And subsequent detailed study of deposits in the Vale of St Albans led researchers to the conclusion that the River Thames never flowed through the Finchley Gap. Instead, it was established that the river stayed on a course north-eastward through the Vale of St Albans until it was diverted, by the Anglian ice advance approximately 450,000 years ago, to a more southerly route, roughly along the line of that followed by today's river.A lobe of the Anglian ice sheet advanced at least as far south as the Finchley Gap. As it melted, it deposited about 14 metres of glacial till there.

Temple Fortune is a place in the London Borough of Barnet to the north of Golders Green. It is principally a shopping district used by residents of the Hampstead Garden Suburb. Between here and Golders Green, at Hoop Lane are two cemeteries – Golders Green Jewish Cemetery and Golders Green Crematorium. Religious buildings include the Catholic Church of St Edward the Confessor, St. Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, and North Western Reform Synagogue (also known as Alyth Shul).
