Pleasant Valley Community School District

Pleasant Valley High School is a rural public four-year comprehensive high school located in Riverdale, Iowa, near Bettendorf. The school is part of the Pleasant Valley Community School District, and it has an enrollment of approximately 1,402 students in grades 9 through 12.Located approximately one mile west of U.S. Highway 67 and 3 miles south of U.S. Interstate 80, Pleasant Valley High School draws students from several communities in eastern Iowa Scott County, Iowa, including eastern Bettendorf, Riverdale, LeClaire and surrounding rural areas—including Pleasant Valley Township (for which the school district was named). Bettendorf High School is their cross-town rival, located five-minutes to the west.

The East Hill House and Carriage House, also known as the Decker French Mansion, is a historic property located in Riverdale, Iowa, United States. The Georgian Revival style residence and its carriage house have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1999. The historic listing includes two contributing buildings, one structure and one site.

WOC (1420 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station, licensed to Davenport, Iowa, and serving the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois. WOC is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., and broadcasts a news/talk format. Its studios are located at 3535 East Kimberly Road in Davenport (along with co-owned KCQQ, KMXG, KUUL, WFXN and WLLR-FM). Its transmitter is located at an antenna farm in Bettendorf, Iowa, near the campus of Scott Community College. (WOC is the only remaining AM station at this site, as all the other transmitters are for FM radio or television.) WOC broadcasts with 5,000 watts with a directional signal to avoid interfering with other stations on 1420 kHz. WOC's most famous former employee was future U.S. President Ronald "Dutch" Reagan, who got his start in radio there in 1932, broadcasting football games, after having played football at Eureka College in nearby Eureka, Illinois.

WLLR-FM is a radio station licensed to Davenport, Iowa, United States, whose format is modern country music. The station's frequency is 103.7 MHz and it broadcasts at a power of 100 kW. WLLR is owned by iHeartMedia, with studios located in Davenport. Its transmitter site is located in Bettendorf.

WVIK (90.3 FM) is the flagship National Public Radio station for the Quad Cities region of eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois. It is based in Rock Island, Illinois, and licensed to and owned by Augustana College. The studios are located on Augustana's campus in Rock Island. The station also operates two low-powered translators – K240DZ at 95.9 FM in Dubuque, Iowa and K289BI at 105.7 in Davenport, Iowa. The station signed on for the first time on August 25, 1980, on 90.1 FM. The Quad Cities had been one of the last areas of Iowa and Illinois without a city-grade signal from an NPR station. Prior to 1980, the only source of NPR programming in the area had been a low-powered translator of Cedar Falls' KUNI, though much of the area got grade B coverage from Iowa City's WSUI. In 1991, it moved to its current frequency, and activated its Dubuque translator in 1996. In March 2022, WVIK announced plans to realign its programming streams. The full-power 90.3 FM signal will air NPR news and talk programming full time, while the 105.7 FM translator in Davenport will carry classical programming 24/7. As part of the realignment, the 105.7 FM frequency will be upgraded to cover more of the Quad Cities.
