Gangelhoff Center is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It opened in 1993. It is the home to Concordia University Golden Bears volleyball and basketball teams and was home to the Minnesota Ripknees during their one season in the American Basketball Association. It also serves as the indoor home to Concordia University Golden Bears track & field, featuring a 200-meter track with a 4-lane oval and 6-lane straightaway, separate runways for horizontal jumps and pole vault, an integrated throws ring, and space for high jump. The facility's surface is Mondo Super X. The Gangelhoff Center is one of the busiest venues in the Twin Cities. The home court for the volleyball and basketball teams, Gangelhoff has 1,200 permanent seats but can expand its capacity to handle 4,000 fans for an event. One of those times was March 2001 when Concordia hosted the Slam Dunk/Three Point competition that was televised nationally by ESPN. A full house was on hand to see the best shooters and dunkers in college basketball partake in intense competition. In December 2008 the Gangelhoff Center hosted the 2008 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championships. The Tournament featured eight teams including host and defending National Champion Concordia University Saint Paul. The tournament was won in dramatic fashion as the #1 Concordia University Golden Bears beat #2 Cal State San Bernardino 3–2. The Gangelhoff Center has served as the venue of several NCAA Regional tournaments and the semifinals and finals of the NSIC basketball and volleyball tournaments over the last three years, In addition to the college volleyball and basketball played here, the Gangelhoff has hosted high school basketball regular season and sectional games, the Minnesota State High School Badminton Tournament, concerts as well as school graduation ceremonies. Several of Concordia's athletic teams practice here when the weather is inclement. In addition, intramural volleyball and basketball is also played here. The 70,000 square foot Gangelhoff Center is named after benefactors Ronald and Doris Gangelhoff.

Concordia University, St. Paul is a private university in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was founded in 1893 and enrolls nearly 5,600 students. It is an affiliate of the eight-member Concordia University System, which is operated by the second-largest Lutheran church body in the United States, the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The school was a two year college until 1964. The present name Concordia University, St. Paul was adopted in 1997.

Hamline Avenue station is a light rail station on the METRO Green Line in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is located along University Avenue on both sides of the intersection with Hamline Avenue. The station has split side platforms, with the westbound platform on the north side of the tracks west of Hamline and the eastbound platform on the south side of the tracks east of the intersection.Along with Victoria Street Station and Western Avenue Station, this station was originally planned to be an infill station that would be built after the main line had been constructed when there was sufficient demand. However, significant political pressure and changes in the Federal Transit Administration's rules led to an early 2010 announcement that it would be built with the rest of the line.Construction in this area began in 2011. The station opened along with the rest of the line in 2014.

Skyline Tower is a large low-income high rise apartment complex in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The building is also often called St. Anthony Tower, or 1247 St. Anthony. At 240 feet (73 m) it is the largest single HUD-subsidized building in Minnesota, and the 22nd-tallest building in Saint Paul. With over 500 units it is the largest single-building subsidized housing complex in the U.S. west of Chicago. The building is run by CommonBond Communities, the largest developer or owner of affordable rental housing in Minnesota. The nonprofit bought the building in 2000 with the help of U.S. Bank. The building was previously owned by Skyline Towers Co and managed by Sentinel Management Co.

Allianz Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Saint Paul, Minnesota, home to Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). Opening in 2019, the 19,400-seat stadium was designed by Populous, during the club's third MLS season. It is located near Interstate 94 and Snelling Avenue. On October 23, 2015, team owners announced that Minnesota United would build a stadium on the 35-acre (14 ha) Saint Paul bus barn site. The stadium seats approximately 19,400, was completed in early 2019, and was privately financed for $200 million.On November 25, 2015, Minnesota United FC hired Kansas City-based Populous to design the stadium. On December 9, 2015, the team hired Mortensen Construction as part of the stadium construction along with Populous. Mortensen built U.S. Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings in 2014–2016, and worked with Populous on three other Twin Cities sports facilities: Target Field, TCF Bank Stadium, and Xcel Energy Center. Construction was completed in February 2019, and the stadium opened two months later on April 13, 2019, with Minnesota United FC hosting New York City FC.

Minnesota United FC is an American professional soccer club based in Saint Paul, Minnesota that plays in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. The club began play in 2017 as the league's 22nd club, and replaced the North American Soccer League (NASL) franchise of the same name. The club played its home games at TCF Bank Stadium, on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, for its first two seasons in MLS play. The club began playing in Saint Paul (becoming the city's fourth professional sports team, joining the Minnesota Wild, the St. Paul Saints, and Minnesota Whitecaps), at Allianz Field in the Midway neighborhood starting in the spring of 2019.Minnesota United FC's ownership is led by Bill McGuire, former CEO of UnitedHealth Group, and includes other Minnesota sports owners: the Pohlad family, owners of the Twins; former Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor; former Wild investor Glen Nelson, and his daughter Wendy Carlson Nelson of the Carlson hospitality company.

Selby Avenue is a street in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, that runs east–west from Summit Avenue near downtown toward the Mississippi River. The street runs through the Summit-University and Union Park neighborhoods. The street, especially between Dale Street and Snelling Avenue, has been associated with Saint Paul's black community. The far eastern end of the street has historically been more densely developed and architecturally significant.

Gordon Parks High School is a public alternative learning center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The school, founded in 1991, was originally the Saint Paul Area Learning Center. It was then called Unidale Alternative Learning Center for several years, after the local strip mall it operated in; this was often shortened to ALC Unidale. In 2007, a permanent building was built for the school and it was again renamed. The school serves high-school-age students categorized as "at risk" or far behind in grade level. It is the largest of seven alternative day school programs in the Saint Paul Public Schools district.

The Pierce and Walter Butler House is a side-by-side duplex, in the West Summit Avenue Historic District of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The Prom Ballroom was a dance hall in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, which opened in 1941 with a performance by Glenn Miller. The club played a diverse array of acts, ranging from rock to polka and jazz, and included acts like Count Basie and Lawrence Welk. The house orchestra was called the Jules Herman Orchestra. The infamous and ill-fated "Winter Dance Party" was the attraction on January 28, 1959.The Prom Ballroom was located at 1190 University Avenue West. It was torn down in 1987.

High School for Recording Arts (HSRA) is a public charter high school located in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The school pioneered the concept of connecting with at-risk students through a hip-hop music program, hence the nickname "Hip-Hop High." There are no tuition fees.

Snelling & Dayton is a bus rapid transit station on the METRO A Line in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of Dayton Avenue on Snelling Avenue, just south of Marshall Avenue. Both station platforms are located near-side of Dayton Avenue. The METRO B Line, an upcoming bus rapid transit line, is planned to share existing station infrastructure. The B Line is currently in early planning stages, and is expected to begin operation 2022 between Uptown, Minneapolis and Downtown Saint Paul.The station opened June 11, 2016 with the rest of the A Line.
