Chandigarh Golf Club is a Non Profit Charitable Registered golf club in Chandigarh, India. It has a 7,202 yard, 18 hole course known for its challenging narrow fairways, a long 613 yard long, dogleg 7th hole, and floodlighting on the first nine holes. The course was designed by 4-time Open Championship winner, Peter Thomson (golfer). The club has been home to some fine professional golfers, the most noted being Jeev Milkha Singh. The club has a clubhouse, a swimming pool and a gymnasium for its 2,300 members. Membership is notoriously difficult to get, with waiting periods running into tens of years. The club has 1,000 NRI members who paid $3,000 initiation fees and yearly dues, with a total of $300,000 (approx. Rs. 24 Crore), NRI members do not have any voting rights, even though the government of India has allowed dual citizenship to NRI's.

St. John's High School is an Edmund Rice Educational Institute, founded by the Congregation of Christian Brothers in 1959. The Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary is a 2600 hectare (6400+ acres) nature preserve located in the Sivalik Hills of Chandigarh, India, near Sukhna Lake. The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden for rock enthusiasts in Chandigarh, India. It is also known as Nek Chand Saini's Rock Garden of Nathupur after its founder Nek Chand Saini, a government official who started building the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. It has spread over an area of 40 acres (16 ha), and is completely built from industrial, home waste, and discarded items.

Mani Majra, also spelled as Manimajra now renamed as Sector 13, is a historical town in Chandigarh in India.
