Bir Shikargah Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Panchkula district of Haryana state, India. It is spread over an area of 767.30 hectares (1,896.0 acres). It also houses Vulture Conservation and Breeding Centre, Pinjore.

Chandi Mandir (Hindi, Mandir: "Temple") is a Hindu temple dedicated to Chandi the goddess of power, near Chandigarh, located on NH-5 Chandigarh-Kalka highway in Panchkula city of Haryana state of India. It is about 15 km from the city of Chandigarh, which was named after the temple, and about 10 km away from the Mansa Devi Shrine. The temple is situated amidst beautiful surroundings and the backdrop of the Shivalik hills.

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden for rock enthusiasts in Chandigarh, India. It is also known as Nek Chand Saini's Rock Garden of Nathupur after its founder Nek Chand Saini, a government official who started building the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. It has spread over an area of 40 acres (16 ha), and is completely built from industrial, home waste, and discarded items.

St. John's High School is an Edmund Rice Educational Institute, founded by the Congregation of Christian Brothers in 1959. Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh, is a premier museum of North India having collections of Gandharan sculptures, sculptures from ancient and medieval India, Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings. It owes its existence to the partition of India in August, 1947. Prior to the partition, much of the collections of art objects, paintings and sculptures present here were housed in the Central Museum, Lahore, the then capital of Punjab. The museum has one of the largest collection of Gandharan artefacts in the world.After the partition, the division of collections took place on April 10, 1948. Sixty per cent of objects were retained by Pakistan and forty per cent collection fell in the share of India. The museum was inaugurated on 6 May 1968 by Dr. M. S. Randhawa, the then Chief Commissioner of Chandigarh.

Leisure Valley is an extensive linear park spanning over 8 kilometers, in Chandigarh. Originally an eroded valley, it was transformed by Le Corbusier into a green corridor that traverses the city from Sector 1 in the north to Sector 53 in the south. It comprises a series of themed gardens designed to offer both physical and mental rejuvenation to residents.

Chandigarh Golf Club is a Non Profit Charitable Registered golf club in Chandigarh, India. It has a 7,202 yard, 18 hole course known for its challenging narrow fairways, a long 613 yard long, dogleg 7th hole, and floodlighting on the first nine holes. The course was designed by 4-time Open Championship winner, Peter Thomson (golfer). The club has been home to some fine professional golfers, the most noted being Jeev Milkha Singh. The club has a clubhouse, a swimming pool and a gymnasium for its 2,300 members. Membership is notoriously difficult to get, with waiting periods running into tens of years. The club has 1,000 NRI members who paid $3,000 initiation fees and yearly dues, with a total of $300,000 (approx. Rs. 24 Crore), NRI members do not have any voting rights, even though the government of India has allowed dual citizenship to NRI's.

Various universities, educational and training institutes, including the nation's first skills university Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University, provide the human resources to capitalise on the finances offered by the HFC and the infrastructure created by the HSIIDC. Among the related initiatives to boost growth, Haryana was the first state to introduce Labour Policy in 2005, and Land Pooling Policy in 2017.HSVP is another related government-owned agency responsible for the urban development.
