Penwith (; Cornish: Pennwydh) is an area of Cornwall, United Kingdom, located on the peninsula of the same name. It is also the name of a former local government district, whose council was based in Penzance. The area is named after one of the ancient administrative hundreds of Cornwall which derives from two Cornish words, penn meaning 'headland' and wydh meaning 'at the end'. Natural England have designated the peninsula as national character area 156 and named it West Penwith. It is also known as the Land's End Peninsula.

According to the Post Office the 2011 census population was included in the civil parish of Towednack.

Baker's Pit Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in the parish of Ludgvan, west Cornwall managed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust (CWT). The reserve is on the moorland of Noon Diggery and is south of the Castle-an-Dinas hillfort and Roger's Tower, a folly built within the hillfort. Within the reserve is a distinctively shaped enclosure with a funnel-like entrance resembling a banjo enclosure, which is an Iron Age ritual site found mostly in Wessex and south-east England and the only known one in Cornwall, The land was donated by Imerys to the CWT in 2000 and part of the reserve is a disused china clay quarry.

Nancledra or Nancledrea is a village in west Cornwall, England, UK. It is three miles (5 km) south of St Ives and four miles (6.5 km) north-northeast of Penzance. Nancledra is a small village with a population of around 150. The village is in Towednack civil parish in the former mining area of Penwith peninsula. A pub, The Engine Inn, is situated at Cripplesease just outside the village, but Nancledra has no village shop or Post Office. Nancledra School is situated one mile north of the village on the lane to Towednack at grid reference SW 492 367.The name of the village probably means valley of Clodri or valley of Cludri.Robert Morton Nance, one of the chief revivers of the Cornish language, lived in Nancledra. The local community radio station is Coast FM (formerly Penwith Radio), which broadcasts on 96.5 and 97.2 FM.

Georgia is a hamlet in the parish of Towednack, Cornwall, England. Georgia is situated 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south-west from St Ives, Cornwall. Georgia lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Gulval (Cornish: Lannystli) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Although historically a parish in its own right, Gulval was incorporated into the parishes of Ludgvan, Madron and Penzance in 1934, and is now considered to be a suburb of Penzance. Gulval still maintains its status as an ecclesiastical parish and parts of the village church date back to the 12th-century. Together with Heamoor, Gulval still retains its status as an electoral ward. The ward population at the 2011 census was 4,185.

Ludgvan ( LUJ-ən; Cornish: Lujuan) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, UK, 2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) northeast of Penzance. Ludgvan village is split between Churchtown, on the hill, and Lower Quarter to the east, adjoining Crowlas. For the purposes of local government, Ludgvan elects a parish council every four years; the town elects a member to Cornwall Council under the Ludgvan division.

Penzance Heliport (IATA: PZE, ICAO: EGHK) is located 0.6 NM (1.1 km; 0.69 mi) northeast of Penzance, Cornwall. The heliport hosts scheduled flights to the Isles of Scilly, with a connection to the railway network at Penzance railway station by a special bus service. The original heliport had a single concrete landing pad, which was 30 m × 30 m (98 ft × 98 ft), inside a 373 m × 45 m (1,224 ft × 148 ft) grass strip, 08/26. The first heliport was officially closed on 31 October 2012. A new heliport is now operational and is the base for a new helicopter service to the islands of Tresco and St Mary's, operated by Penzance Helicopters in conjunction with Sloane Helicopters.

Chysauster Ancient Village (Cornish: Chisylvester, meaning Sylvester's house) is a late Iron Age and Romano-British village of courtyard houses in Cornwall, United Kingdom, which is currently in the care of English Heritage. The village included eight to ten houses, each with its own internal courtyard. To the south east is the remains of a fogou, an underground structure of uncertain function.
