Porte de Vincennes

Porte de Vincennes (French pronunciation: ​[pɔʁt də vɛ̃sɛn]) is a station on Paris Métro Line 1. It is located on the Cours de Vincennes and named after the Porte de Vincennes, a gate in the former Thiers Wall, which was at the beginning of the road to Vincennes.

Lycée et collège Hélène Boucher is a senior high school and junior high school on Cours de Vincennes in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.Lycée de Jeunes Filles du Cours de Vincennes, a school for girls, was constructed on a site which previously held a gas factory. It was built in 1935 and established by decree on October 3, 1937. It did not close during World War II, and was renamed after Boucher. The enrollment had a significant increase in the 1950s. Enrollment became stable after Lycée Maurice Ravel, which originated from the annexe des Maraîchers, opened. Lycée Boucher was affected by the May 1968 events in France.

Lycée des métiers Hélène Boucher is a vocational senior high school in Tremblay-en-France, Seine-Saint-Denis, France, in the Paris metropolitan area. In August 2016 a riot broke out outside of the high school.

On 9 January 2015, Amedy Coulibaly, armed with a submachine gun, an assault rifle, and two Tokarev pistols, entered and attacked a Hypercacher kosher supermarket in Porte de Vincennes in Paris, France. There, Coulibaly murdered four Jewish hostages and held fifteen other hostages during a siege in which he demanded that the Kouachi brothers not be harmed. The siege ended when police stormed the supermarket, killing Coulibaly. The attack and hostage crisis occurred in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo shooting two days earlier, and concurrently with the Dammartin-en-Goële hostage crisis in which the two Charlie Hebdo gunmen were cornered. On 16 December 2020, 14 accomplices to both the Jewish supermarket attack and the Charlie Hebdo shooting, including Coulibaly's former partner Hayat Boumeddiene, were convicted. At that time, three of the accomplices, including Bouddiene, had not been captured and were tried in absentia.

The Cours de Vincennes (formerly Avenue de Vincennes) is a street in Paris, linking place de la Nation to porte de Vincennes. It forms a major artery and serves as the border between the city's 12th and 20th arrondissements. It was built before 1860 and forms the start of Route nationale 34.

Porte de Montreuil (French pronunciation: ​[pɔʁt də mɔ̃tʁœj]) is a station on line 9 of the Paris Métro. The station has four tracks, two of which are sidings. Like that of Porte de Charenton, the train hall boasts an unusually wide vault, at 22.5 m across.: 27  The station is named after the Porte de Montreuil, a gate in the nineteenth century Thiers wall of Paris, which led to the town of Montreuil. Flea markets are held on the glacis (the sloping bank in front of a wall) of the fortifications. The station was opened on 10 December 1933 with the extension of the line from Richelieu - Drouot. It was the eastern terminus of the line until the extension of the line to Mairie de Montreuil on 14 October 1937. An interchange with Paris tramway Line 3b opened on 15 December 2012.

Studio Davout is a recording studio located in Paris, France. It was created in 1965 by Yves Chamberland later joined by Claude Ermelin. It was built in the 1,200 m² of an old cinema, "Le Davout", which opened prior to 1946.

The Hôpital Armand-Trousseau is a public Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) located at 26, avenue du Docteur-Arnold-Netter and rue Lasson (entrance to the emergency room) in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. It is one of the sites of the Sorbonne University Hospital Group.The hospital specializes in pediatric care and, since January 2006, multiple disabilities after its merger with the La Roche-Guyon hospital located in Val-d'Oise.

Maraîchers (French pronunciation: [maʁɛʃe] (listen)) is a station of the Paris Métro, on the Rue des Maraîchers. The station was opened on 10 December 1933 with the extension of the line from Richelieu - Drouot to Porte de Montreuil. The name of the street, Rue des Maraîchers is French for "street of the market-gardeners". Until the 20th century the hills of Belleville and Montreuil were cultivated by many market-gardeners, whose most famous products were the "peaches of Montreuil".

Saint-Mandé (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃ mɑ̃de]) is a station on Line 1 of the Paris Métro, which is located in the commune of Saint-Mandé, just outside the Boulevard Périphérique. It was called Tourelle until 1937, when it was renamed Saint-Mandé - Tourelle. On 26 July 2002, "Tourelle" was dropped from the name.

The lycée Paul-Valéry, commonly known as PV, is a public general and technological school in the 12th arrondissement of Paris located at 38, boulevard Soult. It is a lycée specialising in science, economics, literature and arts, particularly known for its courses in cinema and audiovisual, which were the first created in France, in 1983. The lycée Paul-Valéry is also known for a sociological documentary following a group of a students, filmed annually for ten years between 1984 and 1993, entitled Que deviendront-ils ?. The Association of former students, teachers and administrative staff of the lycée Paul-Valéry (APV) was founded by a group of former students in 2010. Its headquarters are at 38 boulevard Soult, 75012 Paris, its website is at www.apvparis.fr, and it has a Facebook group called "Alumni Paul Valéry Paris".
