Adelaida District AVA is an American Viticultural Area located on the north west portion of the Paso Robles AVA in San Luis Obispo County, California. It was established by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau in 2014. Wineries located within the Adelaida District are: The Farm Winery, Peachy Canyon Winery, Le Cuvier, Alta Colina, Carmody McKnight Estate Wines, Wild Coyote, Villicana, McPrice Myers, Jacob Toft, Chronic Cellars, Vines on the Marycrest, Lone Madrone, Adelaida Cellars, DAOU, Calcareous, Law Estate, Nadeau, Minassian Young, Michael Gill, Villa Creek, Brecon, HammerSky, Oso Libre, Poallilo, Thacher Winery, Whalebone Vineyard, Tablas Creek Vineyard, Halter Ranch, Rangeland, Justin, Kukkula, Dubost, and Starr Ranch.

The York Mountain AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in San Luis Obispo County, California. It is part of the larger Central Coast AVA, located on the eastern side of the Santa Lucia Mountains, west of Paso Robles AVA. The mountainous AVA region has most vineyards planted at an elevation of about 1,500 feet (457 m). York Mountain is cooler and wetter than Paso Robles being just 8 miles (13 km) from the Pacific Ocean. York Mountain gained AVA status in 1984 as a result of a successful petition by the York family who have owned the York Mountain Winery, since its establishment in 1882 by Andrew York, a British immigrant.

Rancho Paso de Robles was a 25,993-acre (105.19 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day San Luis Obispo County, California given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to José Pedro Narváez. The name means "Pass of the Oaks". The grant encompassed present-day Paso Robles and Templeton.

The Bank of Italy is a historic bank building located at 1245 Park St. in Paso Robles, California. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 19, 1998.

The Paso Robles Carnegie Library is a Carnegie library located in Paso Robles City Park in Paso Robles, California. The library was built from 1907 to 1908 through a $10,000 grant from the Carnegie Foundation. Architect William H. Weeks, who designed several other buildings in the city, designed the library in the Classical Revival style. The projecting front entrance of the building has an ornamented pediment supported by two columns and two wide brick pilasters. The building has a decorative cornice, and an ornamental frieze is located beneath the pediment and cornice at the entrance. The Works Progress Administration expanded the back of the library in 1939. The library operated until 1995, when it was replaced by a new building and purchased by the city's historical society.The library was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 26, 1998.

The Paso Robles Event Center, formerly California Mid-State Fairgrounds, is an entertainment complex located in Paso Robles, California. The site opened in 1946 for the annual "California Mid-State Fair" (originally known as the "San Luis Obispo County Fair" [1946-80] and "San Luis Obispo County Mid-State Fair" [1981-85]). In addition to the fair, concerts, trade shows, conventions and other special events take place at the Event Center.

Paso Robles station is a passenger train station in Paso Robles, California, United States, in San Luis Obispo County. It is served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. The only train route directly serving this station is the Coast Starlight. It also serves the Pacific Surfliner and the San Joaquins via Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach. It is an unstaffed station and therefore does not offer ticket sales or checked luggage services. The station building serves as an enclosed waiting area for passengers. The adjacent historic station building has been renovated into small shops. Of the 74 California stations served by Amtrak, Paso Robles was the 56th-busiest in FY2012, boarding or detraining an average of approximately 32 passengers daily.

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is a family-owned craft brewery with operations in Paso Robles, Buellton and Venice, California. The brewery was established in 1996 by brothers-in-law Adam Firestone and David Walker. The original brewery was located on a family vineyard in Los Olivos, California. Their first beer, Double Barrel Ale, was made in a patented variation of the Burton union system. The main brewing operations moved to Paso Robles in 2001. Firestone Walker is today known for bestselling beers such as 805 and Mind Haze. Firestone Walker celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021 and is now California's second largest craft brewery.Firestone Walker was World Beer Cup Champion Brewery for mid-sized breweries in 2004, 2006, 2010, and 2012.
