Claygate

Claygate railway station serves the village of Claygate, in Surrey, England. It is on the New Guildford Line from London Waterloo to Guildford. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by South Western Railway. It is 15 miles 11 chains (24.4 km) down the line from Waterloo.

Claygate Common is a 14.1-hectare (35-acre) Local Nature Reserve south-east of Esher in Surrey. It is owned and managed by Elmbridge Borough Council.The common is woodland with oak, beech and hornbeam. It has birds such as kestrels, green woodpeckers and sparrowhawks.

Hinchley Wood railway station is in the centre of the compact suburban village of Hinchley Wood in Surrey, England. It is 14 miles 4 chains (22.6 km) down the line from London Waterloo and opened in 1930 after the New Guildford Line first passed through the area in 1885. It is the northernmost station on the line, following which the line merges into the four-track South West Main Line and is outside of the Transport for London area.

The suburb's main retail area is directly north of a traffic light intersection adjoined by a large set of retirement flats. The Scilly Isles () is a double roundabout in Hinchley Wood, Surrey, between the English towns of Esher and Kingston upon Thames on the traditional route of the Portsmouth Road. The name is a corruption of "silly islands", a nickname given to the road system when it was built in the 1930s.

The Ram Folk Club was a folk club in the borough of Elmbridge in suburban north Surrey, one of only a few folk clubs in the Home Counties close to London. Established in October 1983, it operated on Friday evenings and featured music by folk and acoustic artists and bands. It was run by a small group of regular musicians and fans and was not for profit. The evening usually consisted of a main 'guest' preceded by several floor spots. In 2007, the Club received the BBC Radio 2 Folk Club of the Year award. In March 2021, having not operated throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, it announced its permanent closure.

Esher railway station is a station on the South West Main Line operated by South Western Railway in Surrey, England. The station adjoins the north of Esher with two footpaths skirting Sandown Park Racecourse, the town's commercial area being 300 metres beyond the racecourse entrance. The station is situated between Surbiton and Hersham and is 14 miles 31 chains (23.2 km) from London Waterloo.

Sandown House, known as Esher Town Hall during much of the 20th century, is a historic building in the High Street in Esher, a town in Surrey, in England. The building, which has been converted into flats, is a Grade II listed building.

Esher Theatre is a theatre in Esher which opened on 4 September 2021. It features a 200-seat main theatre with 350 standing, and is owned by Artistic Director Charlie Swift, of Swift Entertainment, who has owned it since its opening. Its website describes it as a "multi-faceted entertainment venue for the arts". The theatre is one of the largest workable stages in Elmbridge. The theatre began its first season in September 2021, with performances from Harry Hill and Andy Parsons, as well as a production of Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker.

Barwell is a small locality in the London Borough of Kingston upon Thames, located between Chessington and Claygate and historically in the county of Surrey. It was traditionally farmland, its name likely alluding the barley that was grown in the area.
