Hinchley Wood School is a secondary school with academy status in Hinchley Wood, Surrey, England.

Hinchley Wood railway station is in the centre of the compact suburban village of Hinchley Wood in Surrey, England. It is 14 miles 4 chains (22.6 km) down the line from London Waterloo and opened in 1930 after the New Guildford Line first passed through the area in 1885. It is the northernmost station on the line, following which the line merges into the four-track South West Main Line and is outside of the Transport for London area.

Kingston was a short-lived rural district in Surrey, England from 1894 to 1895. The district was formed by the Local Government Act 1894 as the successor to Kingston Rural Sanitary District. The district comprised the following civil parishes: Coombe Esher Hook Long Ditton Malden Thames Ditton West MoleseyThe rural district was abolished in 1895 when all the parishes were included in urban districts: Coombe and Malden were combined with New Malden Urban District to become The Maldens and Coombe Urban District Esher, Thames Ditton and most of Long Ditton became Esher and the Dittons Urban District Hook and the Tolworth area of Long Ditton were added to Surbiton Urban District West Molesey was added to East Molesey Urban District to create East and West Molesey Urban District

The Ram Folk Club was a folk club in the borough of Elmbridge in suburban north Surrey, one of only a few folk clubs in the Home Counties close to London. Established in October 1983, it operated on Friday evenings and featured music by folk and acoustic artists and bands. It was run by a small group of regular musicians and fans and was not for profit. The evening usually consisted of a main 'guest' preceded by several floor spots. In 2007, the Club received the BBC Radio 2 Folk Club of the Year award. In March 2021, having not operated throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, it announced its permanent closure.

Giggs Hill Green is a triangular park in Thames Ditton bordered on one side by the Portsmouth Road which has, since 1833, contained as a major part of it, the village's cricket green. Previously part of the waste (unproductive land) with a high subsoil of clay, gravel and flint belonging to the manor of Kingston, the 8 acres (32,000 m2) of Giggs Hill Green were purchased in 1901 for £250 (equivalent to £28,875 in 2021) by Esher and Dittons Urban District Council.

Stokes Field is a 5.9-hectare (15-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Long Ditton in Surrey. It is owned and managed by Elmbridge Borough Council.The field has diverse habitats with a pond, scrubland, woodland and grassland. Flora include crab apple trees, cuckoo flowers, pyramidal orchid, blackberries, and rosehip. There is access from Sugden Road.

It is the only intermediate station on the Hampton Court branch line, 14 miles 1 chain (22.6 km) down the line from London Waterloo. It is served by South Western Railway, and for the purposes of fare charging is in Travelcard Zone 6. Station buildings are above street level: the main buildings are on the London-bound side.

Rated as "outstanding" in September 2022 by Ofsted, it now has around 2100 students enrolled, with a catchment drawn from north Surrey and southwest London. Thames Ditton is a suburban village on the River Thames, in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey, England. Apart from a large inhabited island in the river, it lies on the southern bank, centred 12.2 miles (19.6 km) southwest of Charing Cross in central London. Thames Ditton is just outside Greater London but within the Greater London Urban Area as defined by the Office for National Statistics. Its clustered village centre and shopping area on a winding High Street is surrounded by housing, schools and sports areas. Its riverside faces the Thames Path and Hampton Court Palace Gardens and golf course in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its most commercial area is spread throughout its conservation area and contains restaurants, cafés, shops and businesses. Its railway station, one of two on the Hampton Court branch line, is 0.31 miles (500 m) from the riverside end of the village centre and the village of Weston Green that hived off from it in 1939. Thames Ditton joins Long Ditton and Weston Green in occupying the land between Surbiton, Esher and East Molesey. Although reduced to less than one square mile (2.6 km2), it formerly covered more than four square miles (10 km2).

The Scilly Isles () is a double roundabout in Hinchley Wood, Surrey, between the English towns of Esher and Kingston upon Thames on the traditional route of the Portsmouth Road. The name is a corruption of "silly islands", a nickname given to the road system when it was built in the 1930s.

The Thames Ditton Lawn Tennis Club is a lawn tennis club in Thames Ditton, Surrey, England. It was established in 1882, nine years after the official rules of lawn tennis were laid down. It is the oldest lawn tennis club still on its original site. Long after most clubs have replaced grass with various types of all-weather surface, Thames Ditton retains six outstanding grass courts and four newly installed artificial clay courts.

St Nicholas Church in Thames Ditton, Surrey, England, is a Grade I listed Anglican parish church that has parts that date back to the 12th century.
