RFUEA Ground

The Safari Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya. The Safari Sevens is open to international representative sides, professional and amateur clubs, invitational teams, university and school teams. Initially held at the RFUEA Ground, home of the Kenya Rugby Union, the tournament was moved to the Nyayo National Stadium in 2010 and 2011 and then held in the 60,000 seat Moi International Sports Centre from 2012 through 2017. Due to declining spectators and sponsor interest, the event was moved back to the RFUEA in 2018.

Hekima College is a Jesuit school of theology in Nairobi, Kenya, affiliated with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. It opened in 1984 as a seminary for Jesuits studying to be priests. Since its opening, Hekima has diversified its student base. In 2004 it opened the Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations (HIPSIR).

Dagoretti is an area in the western part of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It straddles the Nairobi and Kiambu County boundary with the Dagoretti Road Reserve marking the psychological border point heading Northerly and North-Easterly. The Refugee Consortium of Kenya (Refugee Consortium of Kenya) also called Haki House (Right House), is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1998 by Ms. Abi Gitari to address the increasingly complex and deteriorating refugee situation in Kenya, the Great Lakes, and the Horn of Africa Region. Woodley is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Nairobi. It is approximately 4.4 kilometres (2.7 mi) west of the central business district. It generally a low-density suburb that lies north of Africa's largest slum, Kibera. Woodley Estate was completed in 1950 and named after the then mayor of Nairobi, Sir Richard Woodley.

The French School of Nairobi, also known as the Lycée Denis Diderot (LDD), is the French international school in Kenya. It is located in the district of Kilimani, in Nairobi. It is part of Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger network. Opened in 1962 in Westlands as École française à Nairobi, it moved to its current campus in 1972. In 1989 the school was named the Collège Denis Diderot, and it is in 1995 that it received its current name It includes kindergarten through secondary school education, which includes high school.The Lycée Denis Diderot is involved in numerous academic, sport and cultural events at local and international levels: rugby competitions, art project La Grande Lessive. Kenyan, French and foreign personalities like Sam Cambio, Maddo or Tabu Osusa are regularly invited for projects with the students.

Kibera (Kinubi: Forest or Jungle) is a division of Nairobi Area, Kenya, and neighbourhood of the city of Nairobi, 6.6 kilometres (4.1 mi) from the city centre. Kibera is the largest slum in Nairobi, and the largest urban slum in Africa. The 2009 Kenya Population and Housing Census reports Kibera's population as 170,070, contrary to previous estimates of one or two million people. Other sources suggest the total Kibera population may be 500,000 to well over 1,000,000 depending on which slums are included in defining Kibera.Most Kibera slum residents live in extreme poverty, earning less than US$2 per day. Unemployment rates are high. 12% of the population are living with HIV. Cases of assault and rape are common. There are few schools, and most people cannot afford education for their children. Clean water is scarce. Diseases caused by poor hygiene are prevalent. A great majority living in the slum lack access to basic services, including electricity, running water, and medical care.The Government initiated a clearance programme to replace the slum with a residential district of high-rise apartments, and to relocate the residents to these new buildings upon completion.The neighbourhood is divided into a number of villages, including Kianda, Soweto East, Gatwekera, Kisumu Ndogo, Lindi, Laini Saba, Siranga, Makina, Salama, Ayany, and Mashimoni.
