Ned Ashton House

The Dr. Albert Henry Byfield House is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1917, the two-story house combines elements of the Tudor Revival and the Craftsman styles. It was designed by Stuart Hobbs Sims, an engineering professor at the University of Iowa. It features asymmetrical facades, a two-story porch on the east elevation, and a tile roof with a cat-slide gable. The first owner of the house, Dr. Byfield, founded the Pediatrics Department at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Carver–Hawkeye Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Iowa City, Iowa. Opened in 1983, it is the home court for The University of Iowa Hawkeyes men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the university's wrestling, and gymnastics teams. It was named for the late industrialist Roy J. Carver of Muscatine, Iowa, a prominent statewide booster, who donated $9.2 million to The University of Iowa before his death in 1981. Prior to the arena's opening, Iowa's athletic teams played at the Iowa Field House.

Parish Apartments, also known as the Sigma Pi Fraternity House and the St. Thomas More Parish Center, is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013 as the Sigma Pi Fraternity House.

The University of Iowa College of Public Health is one of eleven colleges based in the University of Iowa. Established on July 1, 1999, the college's roots originate in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health, and with the Graduate Program in Hospital and Health Administration. Both of these were formerly based in the University of Iowa College of Medicine. The College of Public Health Building has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, the highest standard for sustainable design.

The Edgewater Park Site is a 3,800-year-old Late Archaic campsite situated along the Iowa River in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Plant remains recovered from the site suggest the inhabitants were in the earliest stages of adapting domesticated plants. Excavations revealed a small encampment of two hearths and areas for faunal and stone tool production. Other features identified include a discard area and a deep feature of unknown function. Lithic analysis reveals that the site occupants probably recently traveled along the Iowa River from the north center of the state and were engaged in late-stage tool manufacture and maintenance. Floral analysis indicates the site occupation occurred during the warm half of the year and that the occupants utilized little barley, a non-local plant which was later cultivated, and barnyard grass, a local plant probably also later cultivated. This site is interpreted as a short-term, late warm-season occupation of people migrating down the Iowa River, possibly towards winter encampments in what is now the southeast part of the state.

The graduate program offers Masters of Arts in art and art history, Master of Fine Arts in art, and Doctor of Philosophy in art history. The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine (also known as CCOM or Carver) is the medical school of the University of Iowa, located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. The first medical college associated with the University of Iowa was founded in 1850, in the small town of Keokuk, Iowa, but the current Iowa City program can trace its roots to 1870. The program became notable as the first co-educational medical school in the United States, and was one of 22 original members of the Association of American Medical Colleges in 1876.

Clear Creek is a stream in Johnson and Iowa counties, Iowa, in the United States. It is a tributary of Iowa River. The name of Clear Creek originally referred to the clarity of its waters, which have since become muddied with the advent of intensive agriculture in the area.

AnimeIowa is an annual three-day anime convention held during July at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville, Iowa. The staff are all volunteers and the convention is run by the non-profit Mindbridge Foundation.

Duane Banks Field is a baseball stadium in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. It is the home field of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes college baseball team. The stadium holds 3,000 people and opened in 1974. It is named after former Iowa Hawkeyes baseball coach Duane Banks.

The University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art is a visual arts institution that is part of the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. It is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. Since its inception, the museum has partnered in many teaching programs and research projects with the University of Iowa School of Art and Art History, and for several decades has sponsored the annual MFA show as well as the faculty exhibitions. Faculty from the SAAH and elsewhere, and graduate students on campus have curated shows at the museum that are closely linked with their research, courses, and seminars. The teaching mission of the Stanley Museum of Art embraces the curriculum of the University of Iowa and extends throughout the state.

The Old Settlers' Association of Johnson County Cabins, also known as City Park Cabins, are historic buildings located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. These are two log structures built by the Old Settlers' Association of Johnson County. The single-room log cabin was built in 1889 for Johnson County's semicentennial. It had been located at two different county fairground sites until it was moved to City Park in 1918. The second cabin was built here by the association in 1913. It is a dogtrot house that is meant to be a replica of an early trading post in this area. These are typical log house forms from Iowa's pioneer era whose existence are now rare. They also represent an effort by a social organization to commemorate the community's common pioneer heritage. A third element that is part of the historical designation is a bronze plaque affixed to a granite boulder. Located southwest of the cabins, it was installed in 1929 to mark a "Grand Army Tree" that was planted nearby. It is not known if the tree survives. The buildings and plaque were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
