The Japan Patent Office (特許庁, Tokkyochō, JPO) is a Japanese governmental agency in charge of industrial property right affairs, under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The Japan Patent Office is located in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo and is one of the world's largest patent offices. The Japan Patent Office's mission is to promote the growth of the Japanese economy and industry by administering the laws relating to patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks. The Cabinet Secretariat (内閣官房, Naikaku-kanbō) is an agency in the Japanese government, headed by the Chief Cabinet Secretary. It organizes the Cabinet's public relations, coordinates ministries and agencies, collects intelligence, and organizes miscellaneous other tasks for the Cabinet, including the Prime Minister's office (Kantei) and residence (Kōtei).

The Nippon Taiko Foundation (日本太鼓財団, Nippon taiko zaidan), formerly referred to as Nippon taiko renmei (日本太鼓連盟)　is a Japanese governmental organization and is the largest national organization of taiko performance groups active in Japan. As of 2012, the Foundation represents over 800 taiko groups, approximately 20,000 individuals, and is made up of 34 leagues corresponding to some Japanese prefectures.

The May 15 Incident (五・一五事件, Goichigo Jiken) was an attempted coup d'état in the Empire of Japan, on May 15, 1932, launched by reactionary elements of the Imperial Japanese Navy, aided by cadets in the Imperial Japanese Army and civilian remnants of the ultranationalist League of Blood (Ketsumei-dan). Prime Minister Inukai Tsuyoshi was assassinated by 11 young naval officers. The following trial and popular support of the Japanese population led to extremely light sentences for the assassins, strengthening the rising power of Japanese militarism and weakening democracy and the rule of law in the Empire of Japan.

Kokkai-gijidomae Station (国会議事堂前駅, Kokkai-gijidō-mae-eki) is a subway station in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. It is located adjacent to the National Diet Building. The station name literally means "in front of the National Diet Building".

The Reconstruction Agency (復興庁, Fukkō-chō) is an agency of the Japanese government established on February 10, 2012 to coordinate reconstruction activities related to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.

The Headquarters for Earthquake Research Promotion (地震調査研究推進本部, Jishin Chōsa Kenkyū Suishin Honbu) is an extraordinary organ of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It was established in 1995, as a response to the damages caused by the Great Hanshin earthquake, to promote research on earthquakes in order to minimize their potential for destruction.

The Kasumigaseki Common Gate (霞が関コモンゲート, Kasumigaseki Komon Geito) is twin tower buildings located in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo. The buildings consist of East Tower and West Tower. Together with the adjacent Kasumigaseki Building, the first modern office skyscraper in Japan, the twin towers are landmarks in the Toranomon/Kasumigaseki area. The buildings are directly connected to Toranomon Station of Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.

The Cabinet Legislation Bureau (内閣法制局, naikakuhōseikyoku) is a Japanese government agency which advises Cabinet members on drafting legislation to be proposed to the Diet. It acts as legal counsel for the Cabinet by examining bills, orders, and treaties. It also presents opinions on legal matters to the Prime Minister and other Cabinet Ministers.

National Institute for Educational Policy Research (Japanese: 国立教育政策研究所) is a research institute located in Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It carry out practical and basic research and surveys on education.
