Shukutoku University (淑徳大学, Shukutoku daigaku) is a private university in Chūō-ku, Chiba, Japan, established in 1965. Ryoshin Hasegawa was the university's first president.

The Natural History Museum and Institute, Chiba (千葉県立中央博物館, Chiba Kenritsu Chūō Hakubutsukan) is a prefectural museum in Chūō-ku, Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The museum opened in 1989 with a focus on the natural history and history of the Bōsō Peninsula.

Chiba-dera (千葉寺, Chiba-dera), also known as Senyō-ji (千葉寺), is a Buddhist temple in the city of Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The temple is located in the central Chūō District in the city of Chiba. Chiba-dera is one of many Buddhist temples in the region that, according to tradition, was established by the priest Gyōki (668–749). Chiba-dera is a temple of the Shingon Buzan Sect, and is temple number 29 in the Bandō Sanjūsankasho, or the circuit of 33 Buddhist temples in eastern Japan sacred to the Goddess Kannon.

Gakuemmae Station (学園前駅, Gakuenmae-eki) is a railway station operated by the Keisei Electric Railway located in Midori-ku, Chiba Japan. It is 7.3 kilometers from the terminus of the Keisei Chihara Line at Chiba-Chūō Station.

Fukuda Denshi Arena (フクダ電子アリーナ, Fukuda Denshi Ariina), known commonly as Fuku-Ari (フクアリ), is a football stadium in Chiba, Japan. It was completed in 2005 and is home to the J. League club JEF United Ichihara Chiba following their move from the Ichihara Seaside Stadium. The stadium has a capacity for 19,781 spectators, with 18,500 seats. Originally named Chiba Soga Football Stadium (千葉市蘇我球技場, Chiba-shi Soga Kyūgijō), Fukuda Denshi, a medical electric instrument manufacturer, won the naming rights after outbidding several other candidates. The location is a former Kawasaki Steel factory site. The first international match was held on 29 May 2009, when the men's national teams of Belgium and Chile played out a 1–1 draw.

Inohana Castle (亥鼻城, Inohana-jō) was a Japanese hirayama-style (lowland hill) castle located in Inohana (formerly Shimōsa Province) in the Chuo district of Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. It is commonly known as Chiba Castle. The surrounding area of the castle ruins have been developed into Inohana Park. The castle ruins, including its earthworks and moats, have been designated as a cultural property of the city. The Chiba City Folk Museum, a Japanese castle replica, was built on the site in 1967.

Chiba Prefecture (千葉県, Chiba-ken) is a prefecture of Japan located in the Kantō region of Honshu. Chiba Prefecture has a population of 6,278,060 (1 June 2019) and has a geographic area of 5,157 km2 (1,991 sq mi). Chiba Prefecture borders Ibaraki Prefecture to the north, Saitama Prefecture to the northwest, and Tokyo to the west. Chiba is the capital and largest city of Chiba Prefecture, with other major cities including Funabashi, Matsudo, Ichikawa and Kashiwa. Chiba Prefecture is located on Japan's eastern Pacific coast to the east of Tokyo, and is part of the Greater Tokyo Area, the most populous metropolitan area in the world. Chiba Prefecture largely consists of the Bōsō Peninsula, which encloses the eastern side of Tokyo Bay and separates it from Kanagawa Prefecture. Chiba Prefecture is home to Narita International Airport, the Tokyo Disney Resort, and the Keiyō Industrial Zone.

Kenchō-mae Station (県庁前駅, Kenchō-mae-eki) is a monorail station on the Chiba Urban Monorail in Chūō-ku in the city of Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It is the terminus for Line 1 of the Chiba Urban Monorail and is located 3.2 kilometers from the opposite terminus at Chiba Station.

Midori Ward (緑区, Midori-ku) is one of the six wards of the city of Chiba in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. As of February 2016, the ward had an estimated population of 127,368 and a population density of 1920 persons per km². The total area was 66.25 square kilometres (25.58 sq mi).
