Woodvale is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Joondalup and the City of Wanneroo. At the 2016 census Woodvale had a population of 9,276.Woodvale is bounded to the south by Whitfords Avenue, to the west by the Mitchell Freeway, to the north by Ocean Reef Road and to the east by Wanneroo Road. Trappers Drive runs through Woodvale, from Whitfords Avenue to Ocean Reef Road. The area within and around Woodvale was primarily rural until the late 1970s. Residential development began in 1979 and was completed by 1995 with the release of the Woodvale Waters housing estate. No farming properties remain in Woodvale. Many immigrants have settled in Woodvale, with 21.2% of residents born in the British Isles and 3.1% born in South Africa, in both cases twice the Western Australian average and four times the Australian average.

Greenwood railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Joondalup line, 17.8 kilometres (11.1 mi) from Perth station serving the suburb of Greenwood.

Whitfords railway station is a railway station located on the boundary of Padbury and Kingsley, suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Joondalup railway line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network. It is located in the median of the Mitchell Freeway, and consists of an elevated bus interchange on top of an island platform at ground level. South of Whitfords, trains run every 5 minutes during peak. North of Whitfords, trains run every 10 minutes during peak. Between peak during the day, trains run every 15 minutes. The journey to Perth railway station is 19.8 kilometres (12.3 mi), and takes 19 minutes. The station was constructed as part of the Northern Suburbs Transit System project. Construction began in November 1991, and was completed in December 1992. It opened on 28 February 1993, along with most other stations on the Joondalup line.

St Stephen's School is a K-12, co-educational independent, day school of the Uniting Church located on two campuses – one in Duncraig and the other in Carramar, two suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The school is one of Western Australia's largest independent schools. The Duncraig campus opened in 1983 for Year 3 to Year 12 and the Carramar campus in Tapping opened in 2001 for Kindergarten to Year 12. In 2011 the school opened the new Early Learning Centre (ELC) in Hepburn Heights (across the road from the Duncraig campus) for Kindergarten to Year 2, introducing a Pre-Kindergarten, that takes place on Wednesdays, in the mid 2010s. The school also owns a 115-acre property, the Nanga Outdoor Education Facility, consisting of bushland, field, forest and 800 metres of Murray River frontage. The property is used for school camps and retreats, leadership development and team building activities.

Woodvale Secondary College (also Woodvale College and WSC), formerly Woodvale Senior High School, is an independent public co-educational partially academically-selective high day school, located in Woodvale, a suburb 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Perth, Western Australia. Opened in 1985, the school's catchment area covers parts of the City of Joondalup and the adjacent eastern portion of the City of Wanneroo. The school has an enrolment of 1,409 students from Year 7 to Year 12.The school encompasses the middle socio-economic range suburbs of Kingsley and Woodvale and is defined by the boundaries formed by Wanneroo Road and the Mitchell Freeway in an east–west alignment and Ocean Reef Road to the north. The south border is in line with the cycle path to the Mitchell Freeway entrance in Kingsley.The school provides specialist academic programs in basketball, football, and music.

Greenwood College (formerly Greenwood Senior High School) is an independent public co-educational high day school and Intensive English Centre, located in Greenwood, a northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The school caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12, Intensive English and USE students.

Greenwood is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Joondalup. The suburb is located 18 km from Perth's central business district. It is bordered by the Mitchell Freeway, Hepburn ave, Wanneroo road and Warwick road.

Padbury is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Joondalup. Its postcode is 6025. The suburb was named in 1971 after the notable Western Australian settler Walter Padbury. (A street in Padbury is also named after Walter Padbury, Walter Padbury Boulevard.) Several locations in the north section of Padbury bordering Whitfords Avenue take on the name Whitfords. The south east corner of the suburb also goes by the name of Hepburn Heights, and the most eastern part of Padbury is often called Pinnaroo Heights. Padburys population in 2021 was 8,626.

Duncraig is a northern suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, and is located 16 kilometres (10 mi) north of Perth's central business district (CBD) between Marmion Avenue and Mitchell Freeway. Its local government area is the City of Joondalup.

Duncraig Senior High School is an independent public co-educational high day school, located in the suburb of Duncraig, 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Perth, Western Australia. The current principal is Peter Lillywhite.

Padbury Senior High School was a government, co-educational, secondary day school located in Padbury, a suburb north of Perth, Western Australia. Padbury Senior High School offered a comprehensive education to students from Year 8 to Year 12. Situated in the North West Metropolitan corridor, the school draws its students mainly from the suburbs of Hillarys, Padbury and Hepburn Heights. The school was of modern design and was constructed to cater to at least 1000 students. On 27 October 2010, the Education Minister announced that Padbury Senior High School would close at the end of 2011 due to declining enrollment. The site of the former senior high school is now occupied by the Statewide Services Centre for the Department of Education.

Craigie is a northern suburb of Perth. Craigie was chosen as a suburb name in 1970 and honours an early councillor of the City of Wanneroo who did work in developing the City. Craigie is one of the four "Whitfords" suburbs that resulted from the State Government rezoning a large area of coastal land for development in 1969. The suburb once had a senior high school, Craigie Senior High School, which was opened in 1976 only to be closed again in 2003 following a decline in student enrolments. Students were shifted into Padbury Senior High School or Belridge Senior High School. Padbury itself closed in 2011.
