Mount Cotton Hillclimb is a permanent tarmac hillclimbing circuit at Mount Cotton, Queensland, Australia. It is owned and run by the MG Car Club of Queensland. Club events are run at intervals of around 4–6 weeks. The Queensland Hillclimb Championship is run there every year, and the Australian Hillclimb Championship is run there every 7 years.

Carbrook Lutheran Cemetery is a heritage-listed cemetery at Mount Cotton Road, Carbrook, City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. It was built from c. 1875 onwards. It is also known as St Paul's Lutheran Church. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 4 August 1997.

In the 2016 census, Mount Cotton had a population of 6,835 people.The area was colonised by Germans in the late 1860s after possible frontier wars with First Nations peoples. In the 20th century, poultry farms were established and in recent years the number of residential sub-developments has expanded.

Redland Bay is a coastal semi-rural locality in the City of Redland, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census, Redland Bay had a population of 14,958 people.Since the first European settlers arrived in the mid-19th century, Redland Bay has remained a farming and fishing-based area until the mid-20th century when some of the farms were subdivided and improved transport infrastructure made it possible for residents to commute the 35 kilometers into Brisbane.

Fachwerk Farmhouse is a heritage-listed farmhouse at 445 – 469 Beenleigh Redland Bay Rd, Carbrook, City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. It was built c. 1873 by August Von Senden. It is also known as Krugers Farm. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 7 February 2005.

Redland City, better known as the Redlands and formerly known as Redland Shire, is a local government area and a part of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland. With a population of 156,863 in June 2018, the city is spread along the southern coast of Moreton Bay, covering 537.2 square kilometres (207.4 sq mi). Its mainland borders the City of Brisbane to the west and north-west, and Logan City to the south-west and south, while its islands are situated north of the City of Gold Coast. Redland attained city status on 15 March 2008, having been a shire since 1949, when it was created by the merger of the former Tingalpa and Cleveland Shires. Despite this status, the City consists of largely suburban and coastal communities, featuring a somewhat disjointed urbanisation around major suburbs interspersed with bushland; there is no clear city centre. Large mainland suburbs include Capalaba, Cleveland, Victoria Point, and Redland Bay. The latter is the city's namesake, due to the colour of its fertile soil. North Stradbroke Island and smaller nearby islands, most notably those of Southern Moreton Bay, comprise the eastern portion of the Redlands. The city's boundaries correspond to those of the federal division of Bowman.
