Church of St. Vitus (Chicago)

18th is an 'L' station on the CTA's Pink Line. It is located at 1710 West 18th Street in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The station is decorated with colorful murals painted by local artists from Pilsen.

St. Adalbert Church (Polish: Kościół Świętego Wojciecha) is a historic church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. The church is located on 17th Street between Paulina Street and Ashland Avenue in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. St. Adalbert has served generations of Polish immigrants and their American-born children; at its peak, parish membership numbered 4,000 families with more than 2,000 children enrolled in the school. Today, the church is an anchor for the Mexican immigrants that have made the Pilsen area their home. The church is named after St. Adalbert of Prague. In June 2019, the Archdiocese of Chicago announced that the church would permanently close on July 15, 2019.

The National Museum of Mexican Art (Formerly known as the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum) is a museum which features Mexican, Latino, and Chicano art and culture. The museum was founded in 1982 by Carlos Tortolero and Helen Valdez. Located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, the current building in Harrison Park opened on March 27, 1987. The museum is the only Latino museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The mission of the museum is to display Mexican culture as one sin fronteras (without borders). The museum describes itself as the largest Latino cultural institution in America.

Lower West Side is a community area on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is three miles southwest of the Chicago Loop and its main neighborhood is Pilsen (). The Heart of Chicago is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of the Lower West Side.

The Cable Company (earlier, Wolfinger Organ Company, Chicago Cottage Organ Company; sometimes called by the name of its subsidiary, The Cable Piano Company) was an American manufacturer and distributor of pianos and reed organs that operated independently from 1880 to 1936. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the company proclaimed itself "the world's greatest manufacturer of pianos, inner player pianos, and organs". It was indubitably one of the largest, and maintained that status for several decades during the apogee of U.S. piano sales, the so-called Golden Age of the Piano. Trade publications of the day called it "the largest reed organ house in the world, and the largest wholesaler in the world of medium-grade pianos" (1895); "the largest piano and organ makers in the world" (1904); and "one of the 'great leaders' in the trade" (1922). Its premium Conover line of pianos was noted as belonging to "the highest grade manufactured". The decline of the piano market in the late 1920s followed by the Great Depression forced The Cable Company to merge with another northern-Illinois piano maker in 1936, becoming The Schiller Cable Manufacturing Company. In 1950, the merged company was subsumed into the Aeolian Company, which closed in 1984.

14th Place was a rapid transit station on the Chicago "L"'s Douglas Park branch between 1896 and 1951. Constructed by the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad, it was one of the first stations opened on the branch in April 1896.

Benito Juarez Community Academy, (commonly known as Juarez High School), is a public 4–year high school in the Pilsen neighborhood on the west side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Juarez is named for Mexican president Benito Pablo Juárez García. The school is a part of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) district. As of 2014 it is the largest high school in Pilsen. It was designed by architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. The school was proposed to the Chicago Board of Education multiple times but ultimately rejected. This led to protests and boycotts from many Mexican students and families. Finally, in June 1974, the Chicago Board of Education approved $8.9 million in funding to build a high school in Pilsen. Benito Juarez Community Academy opened in 1977 and as of 2017 has a 94 percent Latino student body. The school is decorated with murals and statues that portray Mexican culture and famous leaders.

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is a Jesuit high school on the near Lower West Side of Chicago, Illinois. It is the founding school of the Cristo Rey Network and is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Cristo Rey Jesuit High School was established in 1996 and provides college-preparatory education. The school places students at entry-level jobs that cover some of their tuition costs.

Damen is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Pink Line and the Pilsen neighborhood.

The Otis Elevator Company Factory Building is a historic industrial building located at 1435 W. 15th Street in the Near West Side neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The Otis Elevator Company had the factory built in 1900. The company, then the nation's largest elevator manufacturer, sought to grow its sales in Chicago, as the city's growth and numerous new skyscrapers made it a profitable market for elevators. The Chicago firm of Adler & Treat designed the factory as a brick building with Colonial Revival elements. The factory served as a regional headquarters until 1914, when Otis restructured and introduced smaller regional offices; while it continued to have a Chicago office, it sold the factory building. The Riley-Schubert-Grossman Company, a wholesaling firm, purchased the building in 1916; while it only occupied the building for a short time, its extensive remodeling gave it its present-day layout.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 26, 2008.

Moses Montefiore Academy (also known as Moses School or simply Montefiore) was a special school of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Established in 1929, The school was located Near West Side of Chicago, Illinois and served students with severe emotional disorders. The school closed in 2016.

Addams/Medill Park is a public park in Chicago named after Jane Addams and Medill Elementary School. It is located in Little Italy.
