Stoumont (French pronunciation: ​[stumɔ̃]) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Stoumont had a total population of 3,006. The total area is 108.45 km2 which gives a population density of 28 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Chevron, La Gleize, Lorcé, Rahier, and Stoumont.

Chefna is a river of Belgium. It springs in Ville-au-bois and flows for 5 kilometres (3 mi) through the province of Liège, before emptying into the Amblève. Around 1802, several farmers started looking for gold in the river and on the right bank the pits of a primitive goldmine can be found, although they have been mostly overgrown. The river had a low yield of about 0.40 grams (0.014 oz) of gold per ton of rock, although locals still talk about the man who "almost became a millionnaire" at the end of the 19th century.

The Ninglinspo is a stream in Belgium, tributary of the Amblève upstream from Remouchamps around Quarreux. The valley of Ninglinspo is classed as an outstanding heritage area of Wallonia. It runs between Vert-Buisson and Nonceveux. The Ninglinspo forms rapids around enormous blocks of quartzite, forming a series of pools with evocative names. The Ninglinspo gets its odd name from an error of French cartographers who mangled quite a few toponyms of the department of the Ourthe, confusing the name of the river with that of the site where it flows into the Amblève. Its original name is the Doulneux, Dulnosus in Latin, found in the Charter of Sigebert III of 647 AD. Dulnosus appears to come from a word meaning an alder wood.

La Gleize (Walloon: Li Gléjhe-dilé-Stoumont) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Stoumont, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. It was a municipality before the fusion of 1977. La Gleize is located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the valley of Amblève in the Ardennes region.

Manoir de Lébioles is a castle-like manor house in Creppe, a quarter of Spa in Belgium. Wilhelm II. abdicated there in 1918 from being emperor.

Nonceveux is a village of Wallonia in the municipality of Aywaille, district of Sougné-Remouchamps, located in the province of Liège, Belgium.

The Coo-Trois-Ponts Hydroelectric Power Station is a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station located in Trois-Ponts, Province of Liege, Belgium. Located next to the Amblève River, one of the few sites where 250+ meter local elevation can be found in Belgium. The power station uses its water to support a power scheme where water is pumped from a lower reservoir to one of two upper reservoirs known as Coo I and Coo II. When energy demand is high, water can be released from these reservoirs for power generation. The water then returns to the lower reservoir and the process repeats as needed. The same machines that pump the water to the upper reservoirs at a higher elevation are also used as generators. The plant was commissioned in two stages, Coo I (1969) and Coo II (1978). It is owned by Engie-Electrabel and has an installed capacity of 1,164 MW.

The Rubicon is an underground river in the province of Liège in the northern-central part of Belgium. It flows through the Caves of Remouchamps, where the world's longest underground trip by boat in a cave is possible 600 metres (2,000 ft).

Trois-Ponts (French pronunciation: ​[tʁwa pɔ̃]; Walloon: Treûs-Ponts; both literally Three Bridges) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Trois-Ponts had a total population of 2,445. The total area is 68.90 km² which gives a population density of 35 inhabitants per km². It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Amblève and Salm. The municipality consists of the following districts: Basse-Bodeux, Fosse, and Wanne. A railway junction at Trois-Ponts connected the Vennbahn with the Liège-Troisvierges, Luxembourg line.

The Salm (French pronunciation: [salm]) is a river in eastern Belgium (provinces of Liège and Luxembourg), left tributary to the river Amblève. Its source is in the Ardennes, close to the border with Luxembourg near Bovigny. The Salm flows through the municipalities Gouvy, Vielsalm and Trois-Ponts, where it joins the river Amblève. It was also fought over in World War II. The 106th Golden Lions Division of the United States Army held the river until overrun by the Germans. Some of the men ran into the river to get away from the Germans and made it across successfully.

The Côte de La Redoute is a climb, often included in the Liège–Bastogne–Liège cycle route. It is located in Wallonia in the municipality of Aywaille and its incline is 1.6 km long with an average of 9.5%. It is named after a redoubt in the battle of Sprimont, which occurred at the village of Fontin, which is located on it, in the municipality of Esneux. It also runs along an access route to autoroute E25 level with the town of Remouchamps. The region is the birthplace of cyclist Philippe Gilbert.

The Battle of Sprimont, or Battle of the Ourthe (18 Sep 1794), was a battle during the War of the First Coalition between a corps of the French revolutionary Army of Sambre-and-Meuse under General Jean-Baptiste Jourdan, and the left wing of an Austrian army under the François Sebastien Charles Joseph de Croix, Count of Clerfayt. The battle was fought to outflank and force the Austrian army away from their defensive line on the Meuse river, and was a French victory.
