DeForest Area High School is a public high school in DeForest, Wisconsin. Part of the DeForest Area School District, the school serves students in grades 9–12. DeForest Area High School serves more than 1,000 students from the communities of DeForest, Windsor, and parts of Hampden, Leeds, Bristol, Burke, Vienna and portions of Madison and Sun Prairie. The school's colors are purple and gold.

Morrisonville is an unincorporated community in the village of Windsor, in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States, approximately 18 miles (29 km) north of Madison. The Yahara River flows through the community. The main road running through Morrisonville is County Trunk DM, which connects from State Highway 51 approximately 8 miles (13 km) to the village of Dane, Wisconsin. At each entrance into the town on DM is a welcome sign calling Morrisonville "Frogtown U.S.A."

Norway Grove is an unincorporated community located in the town of Vienna in Dane County, Wisconsin.Dating from 1844, immigrant settlers principally from the traditional district of Sogn in Western Norway, came to the townships of Windsor and Vienna in Dane County. They settled in a region lying in the northwestern part of Windsor township and the adjoining portion of the township of Vienna which became known as Norway Grove. In 1847, these settlers invited Rev. Johannes Wilhelm Christian Dietrichson from Koshkonong, Wisconsin to come and conduct worship services. In 1849, it was decided that they would organize a Norwegian language Lutheran Church congregation.

Sun Prairie West High School (SPWHS) is a high school in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Sun Prairie Area School District, the other being Sun Prairie East High School. During the 2022-2023 school year, there were 1,345 students at Sun Prairie West High School. SPWHS is a WIAA Division 1 school and is a member of the Big Eight athletic conference in all sports except for football, in which it is a WIAA Division 2 school and a member of the Badger Conference.In the summer of 2010, Sun Prairie High School moved to a new building in the southeast part of town. The former school became a combined 8th and 9th grade upper middle school and was named Cardinal Heights Upper Middle School. Cardinal Heights later became a 6th-8th grade middle school and was renamed to Central Heights Middle School. In 2022, the school split into 2 high schools, Sun Prairie West High School and Sun Prairie East High School, with SPWHS getting a new campus on Ironwood Drive and SPEHS keeping the Grove Street Campus. The school was opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 28, 2022, with Wisconsin governor Tony Evers in attendance. The construction of SPWHS was the culmination of an effort that started in 2019 with a $164,000,000 referendum.

Truax Field Air National Guard Base (IATA: MSN, ICAO: KMSN, FAA LID: MSN), also known as Truax Field, is a military facility located at Dane County Regional Airport. It is located five miles (8 km) northeast of the center of Madison, a city in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. Truax Field was named in honor of Wisconsin native Lieutenant Thomas L. Truax, who was killed in a P-40 training accident in November 1941. The airport is home to both the Wisconsin Army National Guard and the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
