Kennedy Baptist College is an Australian coeducational, independent, Baptist, secondary school located in Murdoch, Western Australia. The College currently educates 1,238 students and 160 staff members (2023). It is named after Baptist minister and pioneer William Kennedy and is situated on the grounds ofMurdoch University.

State Youth Remand Centre - Rangeview was an Australian juvenile remand prison facility for between 10 and 18 years, located in Murdoch, Western Australia.The prison was primarily used for the detention of juveniles held in custody awaiting trial. The detainees had access to a variety of activities and educational programs. Detainees aged 17 and under were required to attend school.In 2012, the detainees were moved to Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre and the facility closed. In November 2012, Wandoo Reintegration Facility opened on the site.

Wandoo Rehabilitation Prison, formerly Wandoo Reintegration Facility, is an Australian minimum and medium security prison for women located in Murdoch, Western Australia. The prison commenced operation in August 2018 as a dedicated Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) rehabilitation facility for women to help them break the cycle of addiction.Wandoo has a campus-style layout with low-rise accommodation, communal kitchens, laundries and sports facilities set in gardens.

Murdoch University is a public university in Perth, Western Australia, with campuses also in Singapore and Dubai. It began operations as the state's second university on 25 July 1973, and accepted its first undergraduate students in 1975. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a state government hospital and teaching facility in Murdoch, Western Australia. Completed in December 2013, the hospital is the largest building project ever undertaken for the Government of Western Australia. It is immediately adjacent to the private non-profit St John of God Murdoch Hospital, with the distance between the entrances to the emergency departments of these two hospitals being approximately 390 metres (430 yd).

St John of God Murdoch Hospital is a 511-bed private non-profit hospital located in the southern suburbs of Perth in Western Australia, immediately adjacent to the public Fiona Stanley Hospital campus. The distance between the entrances to the emergency departments of these two hospitals is approximately 390 m (427 yd). Established in 1994, the hospital services the southern suburbs of Perth. It provides comprehensive hospital services for more than 50,000 patients each year, with the emergency department. St John of God Murdoch Hospital is a division of St John of God Health Care.

Adventure World is a theme park in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. It is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the Perth central business district. The park opened on 11 November 1982 as "Adventureworld at Bibra Lakes" and undergoes a winter closure each year. Adventure World was built on an old limestone quarry at Bibra Lake. 380,000 tonnes (840 million pounds) of sand were used to reshape the land for the initial landscape of the park before it opened on 11 November 1982.The theme park has 25 different attractions, including the "Goliath" launched in 2017, the $12 million roller coaster “Abyss” launched in 2013, the $7 million dollar Kraken, which is the longest, tallest and steepest Funnel water slide of its kind, the "Dragon’s Kingdom" children area and Hawaiian themed water playground "Kahuna Falls". Adventure World is a seasonal business open for 7 months a year to take advantage of Western Australia's summer climate.

Turbo Mountain was a steel roller coaster at Adventure World in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The ride was closed and removed in 2009 to make room for a HUSS Shot'N Drop tower named Freefall. The ride was originally located in Luna Park Sydney as a standard Schwarzkopf Jet Star 2 bought second hand. When the ride was moved to Adventure World in 1991, the ride's lift hill was modified from a spiral lift hill to a standard chain lift hill due to maintenance.

Abyss is a steel roller coaster located at the Adventure World amusement park in Perth, Western Australia. The $12-million attraction was announced in April 2013, and construction began the following month. It opened to the general public six months later on 1 November 2013. The Abyss is a Euro-Fighter, a roller coaster model from Gerstlauer that features a "beyond-vertical" first drop which exceeds 90 degrees. In addition to several inversions, the Abyss reaches a top speed of 85 kilometres per hour (53 mph) along the two-minute, 630-metre-long (2,070 ft) ride.
