Mount Vision is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Otsego County, New York, United States. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Mount Vision had a population of 1,018. The community is located along New York State Route 205, 8.7 miles (14.0 km) north of Oneonta. Mount Vision has a post office with ZIP code 13810. Mount Vision was formerly known as Jacksonville. A tuberculosis sanatorium was located here in the early 20th century.

Arnold Lake is a small lake located west-northwest of the Village of Milford in the Town of Hartwick in Otsego County, New York. The lake drains south via Spring Brook which flows into Goodyear Lake by Portlandville.

Gifford Hill is a small mountain chain in the Central New York Region of New York. It is located northeast of Oneonta, New York. It is made of three main peaks the highest being 1928 feet. Gifford Hill is named for the Gifford Family who moved to the area in 1803 and settled along the Oneonta Creek on what is now called Gifford Hill.The west side of Gifford Hill drains into Oneonta Creek and the east side of the hill drains into Gifford Creek.

Gilbert Lake is a small lake in Otsego County, New York. It is located northwest of Laurens within Gilbert Lake State Park. Lake Brook flows through the lake, then flows southeast before converging with Otego Creek. Lake of the Twin Fawns, located northwest of Gilbert Lake, drains south via Lake Brook into Gilbert Lake.

Gilbert Lake State Park is a 1,584-acre (6.41 km2) state park in Otsego County, New York, United States. Most of the park is in the Town of New Lisbon, in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains east of the community of New Lisbon and north of Oneonta. Gilbert Lake and Lake of the Twin Fawns are located within the park.

Lake of the Twin Fawns also called "Duck Pond" is a small lake in Otsego County, New York. It is located northwest of Laurens within Gilbert Lake State Park. Lake of the Twin Fawns either drains west via an unnamed creek which flows into Stony Creek or south via Lake Brook which flows into Gilbert Lake.

Goey Pond or Goey's Pond (also known as Little Pond) is a small lake located northwest of the Village of Milford in the Town of Hartwick in Otsego County, New York. The pond is only accessible from one road (Goey Pond Road), which is not maintained during the winter months. No dwellings line the lake. Fish species present in the pond are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pumpkinseed, chain pickerel, and brown bullhead. Goey Pond is 47 feet deep at its center. (A natural formation, the pond was at one point dammed, which increased its depth by approximately 15 to 25 feet.)Historically, the pond was the drinking water source for the village of Milford. It was first surveyed in 1965. In 1967, Milford applied for a grant to extend a pipeline deeper into the pond. Currently, Milford does not use Goey Pond as a water supply, but retains possession of the pond, "which may be developed in the future to serve as sources of the water supply to the Village of Milford." As such, bathing, swimming, boating, fishing, and trespassing are officially prohibited at the pond.
