Hartwick Historic District

Old Hartwick Village Cemetery, also known as Robinson Cemetery, is a historic cemetery located near Hartwick in Otsego County, New York. The cemetery was established in 1797 and contains approximately 300 burials. The markers date from the late-1790s through about 1880, with the majority dated between about 1825 and 1865.: 3–4  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The White House, also known as the James Butterfield House, is a historic home located at Hartwick in Otsego County, New York. It was built about 1792 in the Federal style, and remodeled about 1940 with Colonial Revival style elements. It is a two-story, five-bay, L-shaped frame dwelling sheathed in white clapboard. Also on the property are the contributing corn crib (c. 1860–1900), four bay bank barn (c. 1870), and brick library / bookstore (1948-1949).: 3–4  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Hawkins Hill is a mountain in the Central New York Region of New York. It is located in the Town of Hartwick, Otsego County, New York, east-northeast of Hartwick. As of 2012, the hill supported a communications tower that is part of Broome County, New York Public Safety Communications System.

Bowe Hill is a mountain in the Central New York Region of New York. It is located in the Town of Hartwick, southwest of Arnold Lake and northeast of Mount Vision. It was once referred to as Rye Hill due to the large quantities of cereal grain grown on its slopes.

Arnold Lake is a small lake located west-northwest of the Village of Milford in the Town of Hartwick in Otsego County, New York. The lake drains south via Spring Brook which flows into Goodyear Lake by Portlandville.

Mathewson–Bice Farmhouse and Mathewson Family Cemetery is a historic home and family cemetery located at Hartwick near Cooperstown in Otsego County, New York. The property was bought in 1796 by David Mathewson and the house was built shortly after the purchase. Mathewson had moved to the area from Rhode Island with a migration after the Revolutionsry War. The Bice family, included in its title, did not inhabit the house until 1920's. The house is a two-story, five-bay, timber frame and vertical plank dwelling. It has a stone foundation, side-gable roof, front porch, and shed-roof addition. Also on the property is the Mathewson family cemetery with eight stones dating from 1813 to 1850. The house sat on 125,000 acres purchased from William Cooper of Cooperstown. It has since reduced to 39.92 acres per the application to the National Registry of Historical Places. Although some out buildings were listed as missing, they were on the property in 1957. Since it was registered, the current owner has restored it to its original state, uncovering a cooking hearth that held antique pots and utensils. They also took down a pony wall that had separated the kitchen, in order to regain the original large Farmhouse kitchen. : 3, 7  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Bassett Family House (also known as the Dielytra Arbor House) is a historic house located at 2399 Main Street in Mt. Vision, Otsego County, New York.

Kenyon Residences, also known as Twin Sisters, is a pair of historic home and located at Mt. Vision in Otsego County, New York. They are a pair of Greek Revival style 2-story, wood-frame dwellings. They both have temple form facades characterized by Doric order columns supporting over scaled, elaborately embellished pediments. The house at 62 Main St. was built between 1839 and 1851. The main block of the house at 60 Main St. was also built between 1839 and 1851, with a three-room, 1+1⁄2-story wing added about 1859. Also on the property is a shed.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Mount Vision is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Otsego County, New York, United States. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Mount Vision had a population of 1,018. The community is located along New York State Route 205, 8.7 miles (14.0 km) north of Oneonta. Mount Vision has a post office with ZIP code 13810. Mount Vision was formerly known as Jacksonville. A tuberculosis sanatorium was located here in the early 20th century.
