Meridian Junior College (MJC) was a junior college in Singapore, offering two-year pre-university courses leading up to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level examination. Situated in the eastern residential estate of Pasir Ris, it is the sixteenth junior college established in Singapore.

Tampines Meridian Junior College (TMJC) is a junior college in Singapore, founded in 2018, offering two-year pre-university courses leading up to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level examination. In April 2017, ongoing reductions in student numbers throughout the city-state prompted the Singapore Ministry of Education to announce that eight Junior Colleges would be involved in two-for one mergers, leaving four renamed schools; Tampines Junior College (founded 1986) and Meridian Junior College (founded 2003) were confirmed as two of the eight, resulting in the creation of TMJC in 2018, with classes first starting in January 2019.

Elias MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line (CRL) located in Pasir Ris, Singapore.This station will be part of a future extension between the Pasir Ris and Punggol stations on the Cross Island line. Elias MRT station will be situated at the junction of Pasir Ris Drive 10 and Pasir Ris Drive 3, around the military training area that will be cleared by 2022.

Tampines North MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line located in Tampines, Singapore. Upon opening, this MRT station will be in close proximity with IKEA Tampines, COURTS Megastore and Giant Tampines. It will also serve the residents of the future Tampines North New Town.

Pasir Ris Elias Community Club (CC), was formerly known as Pasir Ris Elias Community Centre and is a central meeting place in Singapore. It is the meeting ground for many residents and active volunteers and it hosts a number of community events.

Pasir Ris Public Library is a public library in Pasir Ris, Singapore, located inside White Sands. It is near Pasir Ris MRT station and Pasir Ris Bus Interchange. It is the first shopping mall library to feature a special teens’ mezzanine, a dedicated space for teens to hang out, both for reading and leisure.

The North East Community Development Council is one of five Community Development Councils (CDCs) set up across the Republic of Singapore to aid in local administration of governmental policies and schemes. They are funded in part by the government although they are free to engage in fund-raising activities.

Serangoon Harbour (Malay: Pelabuhan Serangoon; Chinese: 实龙岗港口; pinyin: Shílónggāng Gángkǒu) is a harbour in Singapore located between the mainland island of Singapore (Pulau Ujong) and Pulau Ubin.

Sungei Serangoon (Malay for Serangoon River; Chinese: 实龙岗河) is a river in the north-eastern part of Singapore. The 8-kilometre river starts as a canal near Tampines Road, and flows through Hougang, where it is joined by tributary Sungei Pinang just before Sengkang, before flowing towards Lorong Halus, where it is joined by another tributary Sungei Blukar, before emptying into the Serangoon Harbour. The river is also known as the Serangoon Estuary. Since 2011, the river has been converted into a reservoir - Serangoon Reservoir.

Pasir Ris MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West line (EWL) in Pasir Ris, Singapore. Situated along Pasir Ris Central adjacent to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange and the White Sands Shopping Mall, it is the eastern terminus of the EWL and, as of June 2021, the only MRT station within Pasir Ris. The station exterior has the characteristic dome-shaped segmented roof also seen on other elevated EWL stations. The station opened on 16 December 1989 as the terminus of the MRT's eastern line extension. In 2016, two maintenance workers were killed on the tracks away from the station. In January 2019, it was announced that the station would become an interchange, with the opening of the Cross Island line (CRL) by 2030. The station is also planned to be the terminus for the future CRL branch extension to Punggol station in 2032, as announced in March 2020.

Tampines Bike Park was formerly located in the eastern part of Singapore, in the Tampines Regional Centre. Just one-kilometre away from Tampines Mall, the entrance of the park and the parking lot are located along Tampines Avenue 9 at the junction of Tampines Avenue 7. In May 2013, it was reported that the Tampines Bike Park will be cleared for development into a new town, less than 3 years after it was presented to Singaporeans as a legacy of the inaugural 2010 Summer Youth Olympics held in Singapore. It closed in 2014.
