Dolenje Skopice

Gorenje Skopice (pronounced [ɡɔˈɾeːnjɛ skɔˈpiːtsɛ]; German: Oberskopiz) is a settlement on the right bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.In the hamlet of Pečina in the settlement, remains of a small Roman Villa rustica on the Roman road from Emona to Siscia with a 1st-century burial ground have been found. Archaeological evidence shows that the site was also occupied in the 4th and 5th centuries.

It was built in the 15th century and greatly rebuilt in the late 19th century.Parts of buildings and the eastern necropolis of the Roman town of Neviodunum have been excavated close to the settlement.

It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.Ancient Roman artefacts, mostly masonry, have been found in the area, mostly in the location of a destroyed medieval church dedicated Saint Alexander, mentioned in written documents dating to 1274, but already destroyed by the 17th century.

It dates to the 17th century with a mid-19th-century belfry.

Mrzlava Vas (pronounced [məɾˈzlaːʋa ˈʋaːs]; Slovene: Mrzlava vas) is a village in the hills above the right bank of the Krka River, in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.The village church, built on an isolated location south of the main settlement, is dedicated to the Holy Spirit and belongs to the Parish of Čatež ob Savi. It was originally a medieval building, but was extensively rebuilt in 1864 when the belfry was also added.Between 1920 and 1960 and in 1986 a number urn burials dating to the 1st and 2nd centuries were found and excavated in the area. Two Roman coins dating from the rule of Galba and Trajan were also found.

Šentlenart (pronounced [sɛnˈtleːnaɾt] or [sənˈtleːnaɾt]; in older sources also Sveti Lenart, German: Sankt Leonhard) is a former settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. It is now part of the town of Brežice. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.
