Mrtvice (pronounced [məɾˈtʋiːtsɛ]) is a village east of Drnovo in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.In the hamlet of Pečina in the settlement, remains of a small Roman Villa rustica on the Roman road from Emona to Siscia with a 1st-century burial ground have been found. Archaeological evidence shows that the site was also occupied in the 4th and 5th centuries.

Zasap (pronounced [ˈzaːsap]) is a settlement north of Cerklje ob Krki in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The western part of the runway of the Cerklje ob Krki Air Base lies in the territory of Zasap. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.At the end of the 19th century an Iron Age burial ground with about 50 graves was excavated in the area and finds from the graves are kept by the National Museum of Slovenia.

Jernej Molan Barracks (Slovenian: Vojašnica Jerneja Molana), also known as the barracks at Cerklje ob Krki Krka, is a barracks of the Slovenian Armed Forces, which it is located in Cerklje ob Krki, Slovenia. In the context of a military barracks acting as at Cerklje ob Krki, which is the largest military airport in Slovenia. Together constitute the Cerklje ob Krki Airbase.

The Krško Nuclear Power Plant (Slovene: Jedrska elektrarna Krško, JEK, or Nuklearna elektrarna Krško, NEK, [ˈkə́ɾʃkɔ]; Croatian: Nuklearna elektrana Krško) is located in Vrbina in the Municipality of Krško, Slovenia. The plant was connected to the power grid on October 2, 1981 and went into commercial operation on January 15, 1983. It was built as a joint venture by Slovenia and Croatia which were at the time both part of Yugoslavia. The plant is a 2-loop Westinghouse pressurized water reactor, with a rated thermal capacity of 1,994 thermal megawatts (MWt) and 696 megawatts-electric (MWe). It runs on enriched uranium (up to 5 weight-percent 235U), fuel mass 48.7 t, with 121 fuel elements, demineralized water as the moderator, and 36 bundles of 20 control rods each made of silver, indium and cadmium alloys to regulate power. Its sister power plant is Angra I in Brazil.The operating company Nuklearna elektrarna Krško (NEK) is co-owned by the Slovenian state-owned company Gen Energija and the Croatian state-owned company Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP). The power plant provides more than one-quarter of Slovenia's and 15% of Croatia's power.

Dolenje Skopice (pronounced [dɔˈleːnjɛ skɔˈpiːtsɛ]; German: Unterskopiz) is a village on the right bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.Numerous finds in the ploughed fields around the village, mostly of dressed stone, imbrices, and tegulae, show that the area was settled in Roman times.

Župeča Vas (pronounced [ʒuˈpeːtʃa ˈʋaːs]; Slovene: Župeča vas, German: Supetschendorf) is a village on the right bank of the Krka River, east of Cerklje ob Krki in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.Ancient Roman artefacts, mostly masonry, have been found in the area, mostly in the location of a destroyed medieval church dedicated Saint Alexander, mentioned in written documents dating to 1274, but already destroyed by the 17th century.
