West Bridgewater is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 7,707 at the 2020 census.

West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School is a junior-senior high school located at 155 West Center St. in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, United States. The school serves roughly 600 students in grades 7–12. The school's mascot is the wildcat, and the school's colors are maroon and white.

The Taunton River watershed or Taunton River basin is made up of 562 square miles (1,500 km2) of rivers, lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands in southeastern Massachusetts, US. It is the second largest watershed in the state. Also, it is a significant part of a much larger multi-state watershed, the Narragansett Bay watershed. The Taunton River watershed is mostly situated in Bristol County and western Plymouth County, while some portions of it extends into parts of southern Norfolk County. The Taunton River watershed includes: 7 species of freshwater mussels 27 different habitat types 29 species of native fish 114 species of birds. 173 square miles (450 km2) of canoeable river 221 lakes and ponds Hockomock Swamp of 16,800 acres (6,800 ha)

The William H. McElwain School is a historic school building at 250 Main Street in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The two story brick Classical Revival building was built in 1912 to a design by the architectural firm of Loring & Phipps. The school was named for William H. McElwain (1867-1908), the founder of the William H. McElwain Shoe Company, a shoe manufacturer who was one of the major employers in Bridgewater at the turn of the 20th century. The school's construction was approved by the town shortly before workers in the firm's Bridgewater factory went on strike. Despite this, the town accepted land in donation from McElwain's family on which to build the school, and named it in his honor. It served as a public school until 1997, and has sat vacant since then. The school is believed to be the best-preserved school building in Massachusetts designed by Loring & Phipps.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School, founded in 1961, is a regional high school in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, shared by the City of Bridgewater and the Town of Raynham. The high school, commonly referred to as B-R, relocated to a new building at 415 Center Street in 2007. The athletic teams are called the Trojans and the school colors are red and white.

Through a channel sharing agreement, the two stations transmit using WWDP's spectrum from a tower off Pleasant Street in West Bridgewater. WWDP's studios are located on Bert Drive, also in West Bridgewater. Channel 46 had a precarious existence from its sign-on in 1986 until a decade later, including more than seven years off the air between 1989 and 1996. It was the first Boston-area home for Pax before Pax bought the stronger channel 68. Since, it has largely been leased out or used to air home shopping programming.

WMFP's studios are located on Lakeland Park Drive in Peabody.

It flows south through the town of East Bridgewater to a confluence with the Town River, forming the Taunton River. The Matfield River, where it flows through the historic village of Elmwood and flows under Route 18, is commonly known as the Elmwood River.

The Franklin Block is a historic commercial building in Brockton, Massachusetts. The three story brick Romanesque Revival-style building was built in 1888. Its construction marked the high point in the economic recovery of the city's Campello neighborhood, which had been devastated by fire in 1853, and is one of two 19th-century buildings in the area. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
