Kohlenbach

Altensalzkoth is a village in the Lower Saxon town of Bergen in north Germany. It belongs to the parish of Eversen in the district of Celle on the Lüneburg Heath. It lies 13 km north of Celle on the Landesstraße L 240 and currently has 65 inhabitants.

Eversen is a village in the town of Bergen in the northern part of Celle district on the Lüneburg Heath in the north German state of Lower Saxony. Although Eversen was mentioned for the first time in a feudal register dating from 1330, the earliest archaeological discoveries stem from the Paleolithic period. The village is on the edge of the Südheide Nature Park and was an independent municipality until it was incorporated into the borough of Bergen in 1973. It has an area of 3,328 hectares (8,220 acres) and a population of 1,270 inhabitants (2019).

Garßen is a Lower Saxon village in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath and, since 1973, part of the borough of Celle in Germany. It lies on the northeastern side of the town.

Feuerschützenbostel is a hamlet in the town of Bergen in North Germany that belongs to the parish of Eversen. It lies 2.5 km west of Eversen and currently has 23 inhabitants.

Sülze is a village in the local borough of Bergen located in the northern part of Celle district on the Lüneburg Heath in North Germany. The infamous Bergen-Belsen concentration camp was located not far from Sülze, one of several farming villages in the borough. The general Bergen area today is economically heavily dependent on the surrounding military bases and the Bergen-Hohne Training Area to the west, which is the largest military training area in Western Europe.

Groß Hehlen is a village north of the town of Celle in the German state of Lower Saxony. It is linked to the town via the K 27 district road which joins the main B 3 federal highway from Bergen. Groß Hehlen is linked to its neighbouring village of Scheuen to the north via the L 240.

Altenhagen has been a municipality in the borough of Celle in northern Germany since 1973. It lies on the northeastern edge of the town. The original village dates back to 1377. The area is divided into a new industrial estate and the old village by the B 191 federal road that runs from Celle to Eschede and Uelzen. The industrial estate includes a post office distribution centre. The railway line from Celle to Wittingen runs past the edge of Altenhagen, but the station at Altenhagen has rarely been used since it was closed to passenger services. The centre of the old village is characterised by several rural farmyards and a number of handicraft firms. There is also a kindergarten and the local community hall for the parish of Celle's town church. On the northeastern edge of the village is a large vocational college campus which incorporates two training schools (Berufsbildende Schulen), BBS I and BBS IV, and known as the Albrecht Thear School.

The Lachte is a 38-kilometre-long (24 mi) right-hand tributary of the Aller in the Südheide Nature Park in the north German state of Lower Saxony.

Celle (German pronunciation: [ˈtsɛlə]) is a town and capital of the district of Celle in Lower Saxony, Germany. The town is situated on the banks of the river Aller, a tributary of the Weser, and has a population of about 71,000. Celle is the southern gateway to the Lüneburg Heath, has a castle (Schloss Celle) built in the Renaissance and Baroque styles and a picturesque old town centre (the Altstadt) with more than 400 timber-framed houses, making Celle one of the most remarkable members of the German Timber-Frame Road. From 1378 to 1705 Celle was the official residence of the Lüneburg branch of the dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg (House of Welf), who had been banished from their original ducal seat by its townsfolk.

The village of Klein Hehlen was incorporated in 1939 by law into the adjacent town of Celle. The suburb is northwest of the town centre.

Celle Castle (German: Schloss Celle) or, less commonly, Celle Palace, in the German town of Celle in Lower Saxony, was one of the residences of the House of Brunswick-Lüneburg. This quadrangular building is the largest castle in the southern Lüneburg Heath region.

The Castle Theatre in Celle (German: Schlosstheater Celle) is the court theatre which was established between 1670 and 1674/75 on the initiative of the opera lover, George William (1624-1705), Prince of Lüneburg from the House of Brunswick and Lüneburg, as part of the refurbishment and baroque restyling of Celle Castle. This baroque theatre, which fell into disuse and neglect for a while, was comprehensively renovated in 1935 with a horseshoe-shaped auditorium in the Italian style and is one of the oldest theatre buildings in Europe.The stalls and two circles of the auditorium, the second gallery being an 18th-century addition, has a total of 330 seats. Attached to the Castle Theatre is a smaller stage (Studiobühne) known as the Malersaal ("paint shop") with 40 seats.
