Eugene Science Center

The Hatfield-Dowlin Complex houses the Football Operations Center at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Completed in 2013 with a donation provided by Phil and Penny Knight, the complex is named for Lota Hatfield, Phil Knight's mother, and Dorothie Dowlin, the mother of Penny Knight. The black granite and glass structure was designed by ZGF Architects, the same firm that designed the John E. Jaqua Center for Student Athletes. The landscape architect of record is PLACE studio. Early estimates suggested a cost of $68 million, although the Oregon Daily Emerald reported the cost at closer to $138 million.Some features of the 145,000-square-foot complex include a 170-seat theater, a weight room, a cafeteria, a barber shop, locker rooms, saunas, and lounges. Moreover, The Hatfield-Dowlin Complex provides free dining for all student-athletes given that they make the trip to the complex.

Autzen Stadium is an outdoor football stadium in the northwest United States, in Eugene, Oregon. Located north of the University of Oregon campus, it is the home field of the Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference. Opened 57 years ago in 1967, the stadium has undergone several expansions. The official seating capacity is presently 54,000; however, the actual attendance regularly exceeds that figure.

The Dave and Lynn Frohnmayer Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, formerly and still informally known as the Autzen Footbridge, is a bicycle and pedestrian bridge across the Willamette River, located in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. Named after former University of Oregon president David B. Frohnmayer, the bridge connects Alton Baker Park and Autzen Stadium.The bridge was originally proposed in 1970 by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) to carry steam between EWEB's steam plant and a commercial greenhouse near Autzen Stadium. The river's bedrock deterred installing a buried pipe. In proposing a bridge, EWEB offered the university and Lane County the option of incorporating a pedestrian bridge if they paid the extra cost.

Alton Baker Park is located in Eugene, Oregon, United States, near Autzen Stadium. It was named for Alton F. Baker Sr., the eleventh owner (60 years after it was founded) of Eugene's The Guard newspaper (later The Register-Guard). It features duck ponds, bicycle trails, a dog park and a disc golf course, and directly touches the Ferry Street Bridge across the Willamette River. Other amenities include the Cuthbert Amphitheater, a venue for outdoor musical and drama performances. The amphitheater is named for Fred Cuthbert, the park's designer. PK Park is a baseball stadium in the northwest United States, located in Eugene, Oregon. It is the home field of the University of Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference, and during the summer, the home of the minor league Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League. The Ducks' program was revived in 2009 after nearly three decades as a club sport.PK Park is named after former Oregon athletic director Pat Kilkenny, whose donations helped to fund the stadium. Designed by sport architect DLR Group, PK Park has 3,000 fixed seats in the main seating bowl and a total capacity of 4,000 spectators. Fan amenities include a video board, landscaped areas for hospitality, a tiered party plaza called "Fowl Territory", a picnic plaza, and eight upper level suites. Located just east of Autzen Stadium, the baseball park was built on the northeast section of the football stadium's parking lot.The Ducks' home field through 1981 was Howe Field, just south of McArthur Court. The on-campus venue had since been converted to Jane Sanders Stadium, the home of women's softball. The elevation of the FieldTurf playing field at PK Park is approximately 420 feet (130 m) above sea level. It has an unorthodox alignment, oriented southeast by east (home plate to center field); the recommended alignment of a baseball diamond is east-northeast. The former home venues of Howe Field and Civic Stadium were similar, both aligned southeast.

Pre's Trail, located on the north side of the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon, United States, popularly referred to as "Track Town USA", is a four-mile-long running and walking trail named after heralded University of Oregon athlete Steve Prefontaine. The woodchip-and-bark trail features riparian scenery, including grasslands, duck ponds, and woods, as well as guide signs with trail maps at each of three primary trailheads. Near downtown Eugene, in Alton Baker Park, Pre's Trail is part of an extensive network of running trails in and around the university town and neighboring Springfield.

University and Villard Halls, University of Oregon are historic academic buildings on the campus the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Built in 1876 and 1886 respectively, they are among the oldest surviving academic buildings on the west coast of the United States, and are noted for their Second Empire architecture. They were designated a National Historic Landmarks as a pair in 1977.Both buildings were extensively altered in the 20th century, with University Hall's interior entirely gutted in 1914. The exteriors, in particular wooden trim elements, suffered due to Oregon's coastal climate. They were both given historically sensitive restoration in the mid-1990s, a process in which students were given the opportunity to participate through classes organized for the purpose.

Villard Hall is a historic building located in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Completed in 1886, it is the second-oldest building on the University of Oregon campus after University Hall. The Second Empire-style building was listed on National Register of Historic Places in 1972. University Hall and Villard Hall were together designated as one U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1977.Villard Hall was named for Henry Villard, a railroad magnate and philanthropist who was the University of Oregon's first benefactor. He provided financial aid to the university in 1886. Before its naming, Villard Hall was known as "the new building." In 1949 a new 400 seat theater was built as an addition onto Villard Hall. Throughout the late 1950, 1960s and 1970, the studios and transmitter of KWAX were on the third floor. Also on the third floor were studios for KOAC TV, which connected to KOAC in Corvallis via a microwave link, housed in an "outhouse" on the northeast corner of the roof. The building now houses the university's comparative literature and theater arts departments, as well as the Robinson Theater.
