Seibu-en Velodrome

Seibuen Station (西武園駅, Seibuen-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Higashimurayama, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Seibu Railway. The station provides direct access to Seibu Yuenchi Amusement Park and Seibu-en Velodrome.

The park underwent a significant expansion and redesign for the 2021 season, focused around a Showa era themed marketplace, a Godzilla motion simulator attraction, and a children's area based on the work of Osamu Tezuka. Currently, an Ultraman attraction is in development for the 2023 season.

Hachikokuyama (東京都立八国山緑地, Tokyo tōritsu Hachikokuyama Ryōkuchi) is a ridge and park in Higashimurayama, Tokyo along its border with Tokorozawa, Saitama. Its name translates literally into English as "Eight Country Mountain" since in times past, one could view the eight surrounding provinces surrounding Musashi Province from its top. In Japanese it is known as a ryokuchi (緑地) instead of a park. Ryokuchi literally means "green land" and denotes land used more as a natural setting instead of a typical park. The park lies upon a low rising ridge rising about 15 to 20 meters above the surrounding plain. The highest elevation is about 100 meters above sea level. Measured from north to south, the park is from 100 to 300 meters, the park having an uneven size. From east to west the park is about 1.5 kilometers. The trail that runs the length of the ridge top is about 2.0 kilometers and branches into many secondary trails. The total size of the park of is about 39 hectares or about 96 acres.

Murayamashimo Dam is an earth-fill dam located in Tokyo prefecture in Japan. The dam is used to collect drinking water for Tokyo. The catchment area of the dam is 2 km2. The dam impounds about 111 ha of land when full and can store 12.14 million cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was started on 2003 and completed in 2008.The reservoir is divided into two parts, namely Upper Murayama which lies on the western side and Lower Murayama which lies on the east side. They are interconnected with pipes. The dam stores the water from Tama river from two intakes and conveys to the Higashi Murayama and Sakai water purification plant.

The Battle of Kumegawa (久米川の戦い, Kumegawa no tatakai) was part of the decisive Kōzuke-Musashi Campaign during the Genkō War in Japan that ultimately ended the Kamakura Shogunate. Fought in present-day Higashimurayama, Tokyo at the foot of the Hachikokuyama ridge on May 12, 1333, it pitted the anti-shogunate imperial forces led by Nitta Yoshisada against the forces of the pro-Shogunate Hōjō Regency led by Sakurada Sadakuni. The battle was an immediate follow on from the previous day's nearby Battle of Kotesashi.
