Fifth Third Field is a Minor League Baseball stadium in Toledo, Ohio. The facility is home to the Toledo Mud Hens, an International League team and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The stadium seats 10,300 and opened in 2002. It hosted the 2006 Triple-A All-Star Game and home run derby. The stadium was named one of the best minor league ballparks in America by Newsweek. In the summer of 2007, ESPN.com rated The Roost section of Fifth Third Field as the best seats to watch a game in minor league baseball.The Ohio-based Fifth Third Bank purchased the naming rights to the baseball stadium.

The Church of St. Patrick is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church at 130 Avondale Avenue in Toledo, Ohio, in the Diocese of Toledo. It is noted for its historic parish church, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

William Halstead (February 9, 1837 – July 25, 1916) was a Union Navy sailor in the American Civil War and a recipient of the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions at the Battle of Mobile Bay. Born on January 9, 1837, in Schroeppel, New York, Halstead began his seafaring career as a young man. He first worked on whaling ships out of the Pacific Northwest, then sailed the Pacific as a merchant mariner.Halstead joined the U.S. Navy from his home state of New York and served over two years on the USS Dale, suppressing the slave trade off the coast of Africa in the 1850s. Following the onset of the Civil War, he helped enforce the Union blockade at the mouth of the Mississippi River and was present at the capture of New Orleans in 1862. At the Battle of Mobile Bay on August 5, 1864, he "fought his gun with skill and courage" despite heavy fire as a coxswain on the USS Brooklyn. For this action, he was awarded the Medal of Honor four months later, on December 31, 1864.Halstead's official Medal of Honor citation reads: On board the U.S.S. Brooklyn during action against rebel forts and gunboats and with the ram Tennessee, in Mobile Bay, 5 August 1864. Despite severe damage to his ship and the loss of several men on board as enemy fire raked her decks from stem to stern, Halstead fought his gun with skill and courage throughout the furious battle which resulted in the surrender of the prize rebel ram Tennessee and in the damaging and destruction of batteries at Fort Morgan. After the war, Halstead settled in Toledo, Ohio, and worked for the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway. He died on July 23, 1916, at age 79 and was buried at Forest Cemetery in Toledo. He is one of two Medal of Honor recipients interred in the cemetery, the other being fellow Civil War veteran Mark Wood.

The Oliver House is a historic hotel building in Toledo, Ohio, designed by the architect Isaiah Rogers and opened in 1859. It was converted to industrial use in the 20th century and is now home to the Maumee Bay Brewing Company and its brew pub, as well as a patisserie, restaurants, event spaces, a theater company, art gallery, and residential apartments. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. as Successful Sales. The building is located at 27 Broadway St., Toledo, Ohio.

The Huntington Center is an 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena in downtown Toledo, Ohio. It was completed in 2009 and cost $105 million to build. It replaced the Toledo Sports Arena, which has since been demolished.It serves as the home of the Toledo Walleye ECHL ice hockey team, and was the home of the Toledo Crush of the Legends Football League for the 2014 season.

The Pythian Castle in Toledo, Ohio, is a Romanesque-style building built in 1890. Located in Toledo's Center City at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and N. Ontario Street, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Glass City Center is a performing arts and convention center located in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Opened on March 27, 1987, as the SeaGate Convention Centre, the center's exhibit hall measures 74,520 square feet (207 feet by 360 feet) of space and seats up to 5,100 for a banquet, 9,000 for a meeting, and 4,000 in a classroom configuration. It can be divided into three smaller halls, and when used for concerts with a 60 foot by 40 foot stage, can seat 2,000 (in one of the smaller halls), 3,000 (in two of the smaller halls), or 5,900 (in the entire hall) for concerts, stage shows, and other shows, this so that there are no bad seats in the house. Many of those seats used for concerts are in telescopic risers; there are 18 telescopic units at the arena, set up in sections of six; as a result, there are six sections of riser seating and a total of 3,216 in the risers (536 per section). The center also features 17,552 square feet (1,631 m2) of meeting space. The facility was the host to the following notable events: Gathering of the Juggalos 2001 (July 13–15, 2001) Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament (1996-1999, annually) Toledo Ice (ABA) (partial 2005–2006 season) Glass City Rollers (WFTDA) (current tenant) The center was the site of the annual Jehovah's Witnesses beginning in 2005. The group canceled its 2020 meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The Park Inn by Radisson hotel attached to the center closed permanently in April 2020. In July, Lucas County Commissioners announced the structure would be renovated to house a 216-room Hilton Garden Inn and 93-room Homewood Suites. They also announced the demolition of the adjacent SeaGate Hotel which has been vacant since 2009.In February 2022, it was announced that the SeaGate Centre would be renamed as the Glass City Center as part of their renovations to the facility. It features a new, 16,000-square-foot ballroom, along with a redesigned exterior and interior of the building.

Glass City Con X Midwest Media Expo was a two-day multi-genre convention held during July at the SeaGate Convention Centre in Toledo, Ohio. The convention was created by the merger of Glass City Con and Midwest Media Expo. This event only lasted a year before becoming inactive with an uncertain future.

The YMCA Building, now known as 1100 Jefferson or the Court Services Building, is a historic building in downtown Toledo, Ohio. The National Register of Historic Places listed the former Young Men's Christian Association structure in 1982.

The Nasby Building is a 135 ft (41 m) tall high-rise building located at 605 Madison Avenue in Downtown Toledo. It stood as Toledo's tallest building for 11 years, from its completion in 1895 until the completion of the Nicholas Building in 1906.

League Park is a former baseball ground located in Toledo, Ohio, US. The ground was home to the Toledo Blue Stockings baseball club of the then-major American Association from May 14, 1884, to September 23, 1884. The club also played minor league games here in 1883 and 1885. The ballpark was located on a block bounded by Monroe Street (southwest), 15th Street (northwest), Jefferson Avenue (northeast), and 13th Street (southeast), a few blocks northwest of the site of the current Fifth Third Field. This was the home field in 1884 for Moses Fleetwood Walker, the best-known of the black American major league ballplayers in the 19th Century prior to the color line being drawn.

Tower on the Maumee (formerly known as Fiberglas Tower) is a skyscraper at 200 North Saint Clair Street in Toledo, Ohio. Constructed in 1969, the 400 feet (120 m) building is an example of the international style of architecture. In 2012, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the name "Riverview".It was designed as the world headquarters for the Toledo manufacturer Owens-Corning Fiberglas Company, which occupied the building for 27 years until moving elsewhere in downtown Toledo in 1996. Until October 2018, the building was vacant. In October 2016, the Eyde Company renamed the building Tower on the Maumee and announced plans to transform the top floors into luxury apartments and renovate the commercial office space on the lower floors.
