Huntington Center (Toledo, Ohio)

The Glass City Center is a performing arts and convention center located in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Opened on March 27, 1987, as the SeaGate Convention Centre, the center's exhibit hall measures 74,520 square feet (207 feet by 360 feet) of space and seats up to 5,100 for a banquet, 9,000 for a meeting, and 4,000 in a classroom configuration. It can be divided into three smaller halls, and when used for concerts with a 60 foot by 40 foot stage, can seat 2,000 (in one of the smaller halls), 3,000 (in two of the smaller halls), or 5,900 (in the entire hall) for concerts, stage shows, and other shows, this so that there are no bad seats in the house. Many of those seats used for concerts are in telescopic risers; there are 18 telescopic units at the arena, set up in sections of six; as a result, there are six sections of riser seating and a total of 3,216 in the risers (536 per section). The center also features 17,552 square feet (1,631 m2) of meeting space. The facility was the host to the following notable events: Gathering of the Juggalos 2001 (July 13–15, 2001) Mid-American Conference men's basketball tournament (1996-1999, annually) Toledo Ice (ABA) (partial 2005–2006 season) Glass City Rollers (WFTDA) (current tenant) The center was the site of the annual Jehovah's Witnesses beginning in 2005. The group canceled its 2020 meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The Park Inn by Radisson hotel attached to the center closed permanently in April 2020. In July, Lucas County Commissioners announced the structure would be renovated to house a 216-room Hilton Garden Inn and 93-room Homewood Suites. They also announced the demolition of the adjacent SeaGate Hotel which has been vacant since 2009.In February 2022, it was announced that the SeaGate Centre would be renamed as the Glass City Center as part of their renovations to the facility. It features a new, 16,000-square-foot ballroom, along with a redesigned exterior and interior of the building.

Glass City Con X Midwest Media Expo was a two-day multi-genre convention held during July at the SeaGate Convention Centre in Toledo, Ohio. The convention was created by the merger of Glass City Con and Midwest Media Expo. This event only lasted a year before becoming inactive with an uncertain future.

Fifth Third Field is a Minor League Baseball stadium in Toledo, Ohio. The facility is home to the Toledo Mud Hens, an International League team and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The stadium seats 10,300 and opened in 2002. It hosted the 2006 Triple-A All-Star Game and home run derby. The stadium was named one of the best minor league ballparks in America by Newsweek. In the summer of 2007, ESPN.com rated The Roost section of Fifth Third Field as the best seats to watch a game in minor league baseball.The Ohio-based Fifth Third Bank purchased the naming rights to the baseball stadium.

Tower on the Maumee (formerly known as Fiberglas Tower) is a skyscraper at 200 North Saint Clair Street in Toledo, Ohio. Constructed in 1969, the 400 feet (120 m) building is an example of the international style of architecture. In 2012, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the name "Riverview".It was designed as the world headquarters for the Toledo manufacturer Owens-Corning Fiberglas Company, which occupied the building for 27 years until moving elsewhere in downtown Toledo in 1996. Until October 2018, the building was vacant. In October 2016, the Eyde Company renamed the building Tower on the Maumee and announced plans to transform the top floors into luxury apartments and renovate the commercial office space on the lower floors.

The Nasby Building is a 135 ft (41 m) tall high-rise building located at 605 Madison Avenue in Downtown Toledo. It stood as Toledo's tallest building for 11 years, from its completion in 1895 until the completion of the Nicholas Building in 1906.

The PNC Bank Building (formerly the National City Bank Building) is a 368 ft (112 m) tall skyscraper located at 405 Madison Avenue in Downtown Toledo, Ohio. The limestone-faced steel-frame building was constructed in 1930 and is an example of the Art Deco style of architecture. It stood as Toledo's tallest building for 39 years, from its completion in 1930 until the completion of the Tower on the Maumee in 1969. The PNC Bank Building is currently the third-tallest building in Toledo.

The Ohio Building is a 178 ft (54 m) tall high-rise building located at 420 Madison Avenue in Downtown Toledo.

The Nicholas Building is a 250 ft (76 m) tall high-rise building located at 608 Madison Avenue in Downtown Toledo. It stood as Toledo's tallest building for 7 years, from its completion in 1906 until the completion of the Riverfront Apartments building in 1913. The Nicholas Building is currently the seventh-tallest building in Toledo.

The Pythian Castle in Toledo, Ohio, is a Romanesque-style building built in 1890. Located in Toledo's Center City at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and N. Ontario Street, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Downtown Toledo is the central business district of Toledo, Ohio. Both the Warehouse District and the area surrounding the Huntington Center have been areas of recent growth.

The Valentine Theatre is located in the downtown district of Toledo, Ohio at the corner of Superior and Adams Streets. The 127-year-old facility seats 901. From 1925 to approximately 1928 The Toledo Society for the Blind (Now the Sight Center of Northwest Ohio) rented space there for their operations. It was there that a piano and victrola were donated and they were able to start a dancing class. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 19, 1987. A $28 million renovation of the building carried out by architect Charles H. Stark, begun in 1978 and taking 21 years to complete, was unveiled on October 9, 1999.On November 23, 2007, a natural gas explosion in the basement caused extensive damage and forced the evacuation of the adjoining Renaissance Senior Apartments. The theater reopened in April 2008 after repairs costing $3.5 million.

Trinity Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church at 316 Adams Street in Toledo, Ohio. It was built in 1863 in a Gothic Revival style. The building was added to the National Register in 1983.In 1910 the Skinner Organ Company installed a new pipe organ in the church. At a cost of $17,000, it was the largest organ in Toledo.
