Highfields Park is Grade II listed park providing 121 acres (49 ha) of public space, in the west of Nottingham, England. It is owned and maintained by Nottingham City Council. It located alongside University Boulevard, adjoining the University of Nottingham's University Park campus. Due to its proximity to the university campus to the north, Highfields Park appears to be a part of the campus itself and therefore many refer to the whole area as University Park. There are historical ties between the park and the campus. The park contains a boating lake, complete with boats to hire throughout the summer months. The cascade and the stepping stones at the western end are Grade II listed. To the south of the lake the Tottle Brook, a tributary of the River Trent, flows on the surface, this brook is culverted for much of its length. At the eastern end there are children's play facilities and a pavilion with a cafe.

University of Nottingham is a tram stop on the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) network in the English city of Nottingham and adjacent to the University Park Campus of the University of Nottingham. It is situated on reserved track between University Boulevard (A6005) and the campus, and comprises a pair of side platforms flanking the tracks. The stop is on line 1 of the NET, from Hucknall via the city centre to Beeston and Chilwell. Trams run at frequencies that vary between 4 and 8 trams per hour, depending on the day and time of day.From the Chilwell direction, trams approach this stop along reserved track on the south side of University Boulevard, crossing the boulevard on a traffic light controlled crossing immediately before the stop, which lies parallel to the north side of the boulevard. Heading towards the city centre and Hucknell, the trams curve around the back of the Djanogly Art Gallery before climbing a ramp to reach the viaduct to the Queen's Medical Centre tram stop.The University of Nottingham stop opened on 25 August 2015, along with the rest of NET's phase two.

The University of Nottingham Medical School is the medical school of the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK. Its first intake of 48 students graduated in 1975. Student intake has steadily increased to a current level of 330 students per year, including 90 from the satellite graduate-entry school at Derby, which opened in 2003.

University Radio Nottingham is the university radio station of the University of Nottingham, England, where it is part of the Students' Union. During term-time it broadcasts locally on University Park Campus on 1350 AM and worldwide via its website. It is a multi-award winning station run by the student volunteers from the University of Nottingham.

The Nottingham Open, known as the Lexus Nottingham Open (originally known as the Nottingham Championships or Nottingham Lawn Tennis Tournament (1887–1967)), is a tennis tournament for men and women held in Nottingham, United Kingdom, played on outdoor grass courts at the Nottingham Tennis Centre. After being discontinued in 2008, it was downgraded in 2011 to ATP Challenger Tour and ITF Women's Circuit, briefly re-established as an ATP World Tour 250 event on the men's tour in 2015 and 2016, before returning to a Challenger event in 2017, and since 2015 it has been an WTA International event on the women's tour. The tournament is held in June as a "warm-up" for Wimbledon.

Nottingham Tennis Centre is a tennis venue in Nottingham, England. The centre holds a range of tournaments throughout the year, such as the Nottingham Open, which is held before The Championships, Wimbledon. The Jack Britton Trophy tournament is held at the Tennis Centre every year, named after Jack Britton (1911-2005).British Davis Cup champion Dan Evans has frequently trained here with LTA coaches Mark Hilton and Leighton Alfred.

The Queen's Medical Centre (popularly known as QMC, Queen's Med or Queen's) is a teaching hospital situated in Nottingham, England. Until February 2012, when it was surpassed by the Royal London Hospital, it was the largest hospital in the United Kingdom. It is managed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dunkirk is a residential area of Nottingham, England which is located to the south-east of the University of Nottingham and the Queen's Medical Centre. It is in the electoral ward of 'Dunkirk and Lenton', part of the Nottingham South constituency, with a population of 10,920 in the 2011 census.While home to many permanent residents of Nottingham, the area also houses numerous students, including many international students, mainly from east and south-east Asia. The area has become increasingly popular in the last decade due to its proximity to the university. Dunkirk has a nursery, primary school and the Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology; socially, there is the Old Lenton and Dunkirk Community Centre. Dunkirk also has a small industrial area, next to the Nottingham Canal. Nottingham Science and Technology Park, Nottingham Science Park, is also located in Dunkirk. There is a large cinema and entertainment centre across the canal from Dunkirk, adjacent to Clifton Boulevard (A52 road).

The Nottingham New Theatre is a playhouse and production company based on University Park Campus, Nottingham, England. It is funded in part by the University of Nottingham Students' Union and constitutes one of the Union's 10 Student-Run Services. It is the only entirely student-run theatre in England.

Queen's Medical Centre is a tram stop on the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) network. The stop serves the Queen's Medical Centre, a hospital in the city of Nottingham. The stop is on line 1 of the NET, from Hucknall via the city centre to Beeston and Chilwell. Trams run at frequencies that vary between four and eight trams per hour, depending on the day and time of day.The tram stop is situated on a viaduct that rises alongside the campus of the University of Nottingham, crosses the Nottingham Ring Road (A52), runs between the South Block of the Queen's Medical Centre (to the north) and the Nottingham Treatment Centre (to the south), crosses the River Leen, and finally descends back to street level. The tram stop is on the section between the hospitals, and direct access bridges have been constructed from the platforms to the two buildings that will be opened once the necessary changes have been made within the buildings. Access is also available by staircase and lift from ground level in the hospital grounds, and by a walkway along the viaduct from another staircase and lift to the university side of the ring road.Queen's Medical Centre opened on 25 August 2015, along with the rest of NET's phase two. The adjacent bridge over the city's ring road was named the Ningbo Friendship Bridge at a ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor of Nottingham and the Vice-Mayor of Ningbo in China. The name celebrates Nottingham's links with its twin city and the presence there of a campus of the University of Nottingham.The tram line through the QMC had to be specially designed to avoid electromagnetic interference which could affect hospital equipment. The overhead line masts are individually fed with power, to limit interference.

Cripps Health Centre is the base for the University of Nottingham Health Service (UNHS). Its new building, opened in 2018, is the largest single site practice health centre in the United Kingdom. About 45,000 patients are registered there and there are 50 staff. The Cripps Foundation, founded by Sir Humphrey Cripps donated £9 million to finance the rebuilding of the centre. The previous, smaller, building opened in 1969 and had 6,000 students and staff registered.It was designed by CPMG Architects and Arup Group with not only clinical consulting rooms, minor operations suites and a patient observation bay, but physiotherapy areas, and a dental treatment surgery, pharmacy and space for the university mental health advisory service as well as the usual training rooms and offices. There are medicinal and aromatherapy plants in a courtyard garden.The centre provided a free sexual health service until March 2018 when funding for it was withdrawn. Nottingham City Council said it was "additional and complementary to core provision."The University of Nottingham Health Service is an NHS general practice and has been rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission in 2015 and most recently upon reinspection in 2019.
