Oakville North—Burlington (French: Oakville-Nord—Burlington) is a federal electoral district in Halton Region, Ontario.

Garth Webb Secondary School is a school in western Oakville, Ontario for students in grades 9–12. It serves the communities of West Oak Trails and Bronte Creek. The school is named after D-Day veteran Garth Webb who founded the Juno Beach Centre.

Bronte Creek Provincial Park is located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and is part of the Ontario Parks system. The 6.4-square-kilometre (2.5 sq mi) park is located at the western edge of Oakville, bordering on Burlington. The park features hiking and biking trails, cross country skiing, and a play barn. During the summer, swimming is available in a large outdoor swimming pool. Camping in the park is permitted, including sites with electrical hookups.Bronte Creek Provincial Park has two separate activity areas (day-use and camping) which must be accessed via two separate entrances. Campground must be accessed via 3201 Upper Middle Road W, Oakville. This is off of Bronte Road, exit 111 off the QEW/ 403. The main day-use area is accessed via 1219 Burloak Drive, Oakville. (exit 109 off the QEW/ 403).

CJMR is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts multicultural programming at AM 1320. Although officially licensed to Mississauga, Ontario, it currently broadcasts from studios in Oakville. CJMR's studios are located on Church Street in downtown Oakville, while its transmitters are located along Dundas Street West near Third Line Road on the northwest side of Oakville. Originally a daytimer on AM 1190, CJMR was launched in 1974 by the owners of CHWO. In 1990, the station moved to its current frequency (vacated by CFGM) and began a 24-hour broadcast schedule. Formerly a mixture of multilingual and Christian programming, CJMR moved to exclusively multilingual programming in 2001 when the religious programming moved to the new CJYE. In 1986, the station was denied a licence to move to the FM dial. CJMR and CHMB are the only stations in Canada which broadcast on 1320 AM. CJMR's programming is mainly South Asian (Hindi and Punjabi) with some Croatian, Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Italian, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Ukrainian and Urdu programming in the evenings and on weekends.

CJYE is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 1250 AM in Oakville, Ontario. The station airs a Christian music and talk format branded as Joy Radio. CJYE's studios are located on Church Street in downtown Oakville, while its transmitters are located along Dundas Street West near Third Line Road on the northwest side of Oakville. CJYE launched on February 5, 2001, adopting the frequency formerly held by its sister station CHWO. Its religious programming formerly aired on sister station CJMR, which also aired multilingual programming. With the launch of CJYE, CJMR moved to a full-time multilingual format.

St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, marketed as West Oak Memorial Gardens, is a cemetery in Oakville, Ontario, established in 1984. According to the cemetery's website, it is operated by St. Volodymyr Cathedral. The cemetery offers both in ground burial and burial vaults in perpetuity, and is open to all those of Christian faith.

Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School (also called "Corpus Christi" or simply "Corpus") is an educational Catholic secondary school in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Located in the Orchard Park area of North Burlington, Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School has established a reputation for excellence in Catholic education.The school name, in Latin, Corpus Christi, celebrates the Feast of the Body of Christ or the Eucharist. It remembers and honours the institution of Sacrament of Holy Communion at the Last Supper, and is celebrated on the Sunday following Trinity Sunday.

Mississauga—Erindale was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2007. It was created in 2003 from parts of Mississauga Centre and Mississauga West ridings. It consisted of the part of the City of Mississauga bounded by a line drawn from the southwestern city limit northeast along Britannia Road West, southeast along Erin Mills Parkway, northeast along Eglinton Avenue West, southeast along Mavis Road, southwest along the Queensway West, west along the Credit River and southwest along Dundas Street West to the city limit. In 2018, the district was dissolved into Mississauga—Erin Mills, Mississauga Centre and Mississauga—Lakeshore.

Abbey Park High School, commonly referred to as APHS, is a secondary school located in the town of Oakville, Ontario in the Greater Toronto Area. Abbey Park High School was opened at its present location in the wake of the closure of Queen Elizabeth Park High School, which was previously operating at its Bridge Road location, in Bronte. Abbey Park has more resources available to its students than other schools in the region because it inherited Queen Elizabeth Park's resources when it was closed. This allowed for the initial opening budget to be spent on new equipment. Students have open access to a weight room, home economics kitchen, library, and track. Abbey Park High School is also situated beside the Glen Abbey Community Centre, which houses the Glen Abbey branch of the Oakville Public Library.

King's Christian Collegiate is a private high school in Oakville, Ontario. The school was founded in 2001 by a group of parents who envisioned a local Christian education. In its first year, King’s Christian Collegiate started with 64 students and has since grown to 680 students.The campus sits at the intersection of Neyagawa Blvd. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. The first wing and gym were completed in 2001. In 2006, the school underwent the second phase of construction to expand Student Services, initiate the Learning Commons, a library, several more classrooms, plus an atrium and cafeteria. Construction of the Music Conservatory was completed in 2010, and in 2013 a multi-use sports field was built both for the King’s community as well as wider Halton use. The final construction phase included eight new classrooms, a Fitness Area with weights area, a Fitness Studio for wrestling or dance, and a two-story gym with a surrounding running track on the second floor.Notable alumni include University of South Carolina women's basketball player Laeticia Amihere, Harvard University men's basketball player Luka Sakota, Olympic swimmer Tera van Beilen, Matthew "Fergie" Ferguson and former CFL and NFL player Joel Reinders.

Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School, is located in the northern area of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, at 3040 Tim Dobbie Drive. It is an English school in the Halton District School Board that as of September 2017 serves approximately 1600 grade 9-12 students. In its first year, Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School served approximately 600 students in grades 9–10. The school is named for Special Olympics pioneer Frank Hayden.
