The Health Sciences Center for Global Health (HSCGH) at The Ohio State University (OSU) is a collaborative program among the OSU Colleges of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Optometry, Pharmacy, Public Health, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. The HSCGH is led jointly by the Colleges of Medicine (COM) and Public Health (CPH). The HSCGH was created to increase student interest in global careers, prepare students for those careers and to promote, develop and coordinate interdisciplinary global health education and research throughout the health sciences colleges and the larger community. The Board of Trustees approved the creation of the HSCGH in July 2007.The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty Framework Grant was awarded to OSU in September 2008. The NIH John E. Fogarty International Center grant supports the creation of new, multidisciplinary educational programs as well as an administrative infrastructure to support activities.

Prior Hall, originally known as the Health Sciences Library, is the home of the medical library at Ohio State University. The library was named the John A. Prior Health Sciences Library in 1988 and later renamed to Health Sciences Library in Prior Hall.

The Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital is located at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The hospital specializes in cardiology, and is ranked number 46 in the United States for its heart program by U.S. News & World Report for 2020. Care is provided for patients with cardiovascular disease or peripheral vascular disease. The hospital was the first in the country to perform robotic surgery.

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is one of the graduate and professional schools of The Ohio State University. The college is the fourth largest public dental school in the U.S. and consists of nine academic divisions representing all major dental specialties. In addition to the Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degrees, the Ohio State College of Dentistry offers specialty training programs, advanced training programs, MS programs, and a Ph.D. program in Oral Biology. Outreach and Engagement activities include over 60 active programs and more than 42 extramural sites, which continue to expand.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a multidisciplinary academic medical center located in Columbus, Ohio, United States, on the main campus of The Ohio State University. For 29 consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report has recognized Ohio State Wexner Medical Center specialties in its "Best Hospitals" rankings. In 2021, it recognized 10 Ohio State Wexner Medical Center specialties: Ear, Nose and Throat #8; Diabetes and Endocrinology #19; Cancer #27; Neurology and Neurosurgery #28; Pulmonology and Lung Surgery #29; Urology #31; Rehabilitation #31; Cardiology and Heart Surgery #38; Gynecology #46; and Gastroenterology and GI Surgery #50. USNWR also named the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center the best hospital in central Ohio and the second best hospital in the state.In 2022, only one program was rated in the top 20 (Ear Nose and Throat #19), and two previously ranked programs were unranked (Diabetes and Endocrinology; Urology).

The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (commonly shortened to just The James) is part of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and is one of the National Cancer Institute's Comprehensive Cancer Centers. It is named after Arthur G. James, the founder, who desired a cancer hospital in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The hospital treats cancer, and conducts research in the Solove Research Institute. The James receives donations through the Pelotonia biking event. In 2018, the James Cancer Hospital was designated a magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. With its expansion in 2014, it is now the third largest cancer hospital in the United States. Despite sizable fundraising efforts and recognition in Central Ohio, U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital as the 30th best cancer hospital in the United States in 2020.

The Mathematical Biosciences Institute (MBI) was an institution of higher learning affiliated with the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. MBI received major funding from the National Science Foundation.

The ISKCON Krishna House is a Hare Krishna temple in Columbus, Ohio. Established in 1969, it is the oldest Hindu temple in Ohio. Its significance has been recognized with an Ohio Historical Society marker.

The Dr. Samuel Mitchel Smith and Sons Memorial Fountain is an 1880 sculpture and memorial by William Walcutt, installed at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. The bronze and granite memorial is dedicated to Samuel Mitchel Smith, Surgeon General of Ohio during the American Civil War, and the first academic professor for the treatment of the mentally ill in the United States. The statue stood at Columbus's downtown center at Broad and High streets from 1880 to 1915. Its poor placement on the street prompted its move to St. Francis Hospital, site of the present-day Grant Medical Center, where it stood until the hospital's demolition in 1957. The statue was then moved to the Columbus Health Department's Franklinton office, where it stood until it was stolen and recovered in 1994. It was then relocated to its current site, the Harding Hospital at the Wexner Medical Center, on the Ohio State University campus.

Mirror Lake is a pond on the campus of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Visitors, students, faculty, and staff visit the fountains that run in spring, summer, and autumn.

The William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library (commonly referred to as the Thompson Library) is the main library at Ohio State University's Columbus campus. It is the university's largest library and houses its main stacks, special collections, rare books and manuscripts, and many departmental subject libraries. The library was originally built in 1912, and was renovated in 1951, 1977, and 2009. It is named in honor of the university's fifth president, William Oxley Thompson.

Hale Hall is a historic building of the Ohio State University main campus in Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1909–1911 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The building was formerly the Ohio Union, and had numerous other names through its history. It was the fourth student union building built in the U.S., and the first at a state university in the country. It is only one of four buildings on campus on the National Register; the others are the Ohio Stadium and Hayes and Orton Halls.The building was designed by George S. Mills and built from 1909 to 1911. Although built as a student union, the building was replaced by Building 058, completed in 1951. The old building was then remodeled for student services, completed by 1953. The student health service moved out in 1969, and most of the remaining student services had moved by 1976. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, despite opposition from the university's executives.From 1989 to 2020, the building or its predecessor served as the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center, a student center and gathering space for Black students at the college. It was named for the former vice provost for Diversity and Inclusion and professor emeritus at Ohio State, who spent years creating opportunities for students of color while creating safe spaces for these students. The students had fought for their own space, resulting in the center's establishment. The center lost its space in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and the building was converted for classroom use. Black student groups are working to have the space return to acting as a cultural center.
