Belgrave Lodge

Belgrave is a historic village in Cheshire, England. The area is part of the estates owned the Dukes of Westminster who have their seat at Eaton Hall, Cheshire. The village has a few houses and the Grosvenor Garden Centre. Belgrave Lodge is located at the western end of the 1.7 mi (2.7 km) main approach to Eaton Hall, which is known as the Belgrave Avenue. The village is also one of the Duke of Westminster's subsidiary titles, Viscount Belgrave (1784) which is the name of Belgravia in London, which was developed in the 1820s by Thomas Cubitt on land originally owned by Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster. Belgravia, which is one of the capital's most expensive districts, is characterised by grand terraces of white stucco properties. Many of the street names of Belgravia have a local connection to Cheshire such as Eaton Square (Eaton Hall), Chester Square (Chester), Kinnerton Street (Lower Kinnerton), and Eccleston Place (Eccleston).

Green Paddocks (originally The Limes Farmhouse) is a house in Pulford, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Marlston-cum-Lache is a former civil parish, now in the parishes of Dodleston and Eaton and Eccleston, in the Cheshire West and Chester district and ceremonial county of Cheshire in England. In 2001 it had a population of 112, increasing to 166 at the 2011 Census. Marlston cum Lache is served by the A483 road which is the main road to Chester. The civil parish was abolished in 2015 and became part of Dodleston and Eaton and Eccleston."Cum" in its name is Latin for "with".

Balderton railway station was a minor railway station serving the village of Balderton in Cheshire, England. It was located on the Great Western Railway (GWR) main line from London Paddington to Birkenhead Woodside. The 53-yard (48 m) Balderton Tunnel is just south of the station site, and there is an automatic half-barrier (AHB) level crossing adjacent to the site today. The 15 in (381 mm) gauge Eaton Hall Railway, opened in 1896 to serve the estate of the Duke of Westminster, met the GWR line at Balderton.

The City of Chester is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2 December 2022 by Samantha Dixon of the Labour Party. She was elected in the by-election held following the resignation of Chris Matheson MP on 21 October 2022.The 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies proposes the constituency be split in two, with the majority, comprising areas to the north of the River Dee, including the city centre, being combined with the town of Neston to form Chester North and Neston, to be first contested at the next general election. Areas to the south of the river will be added to Eddisbury, to be renamed Chester South and Eddisbury.

Chester Business Park is located to the south of the city of Chester, Cheshire, England and is sited to the east of Wrexham Road (A483) and to the north of the Chester southerly bypass (A55). The park opened in 1988 and occupies an area of 175 acres (0.71 km2). At the centre of the site is the former Wrexham Road Farm, a model farm designed by John Douglas for the 1st Duke of Westminster and built in 1877–84; otherwise it was a greenfield site. The farmhouse and outbuildings of the farm were converted into offices, and a number of businesses built premises in modern architectural styles. One of the first major businesses to occupy a new building was Shell Chemicals U.K., and other businesses included Marks & Spencer Financial Services, MBNA International Bank, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Trinity International.A Leaping Salmon bronze sculpture by Laurence Broderick is displayed at the Chester Business Park.

Wrexham Road Farm was a farmhouse and farm buildings lying to the east of Wrexham Road, Eccleston, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building, and it is now located within Chester Business Park.

Balderton Cheese Factory is a building in the village of Balderton, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Green Farmhouse is on the east side of the Straight Mile, Poulton, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.The house dates from the 18th century and was altered in the middle of the 19th century for the 2nd Marquess of Westminster. In 1889–90 further alterations and additions were made for the 1st Duke of Westminster, which were designed by the Chester architect John Douglas. The house is constructed in brown brick; it is symmetrical with three storeys in five bays. Douglas' additions include the rear extension, which has diapering in blue bricks and is joined to the original part of the house by a timber-framed link. Douglas also altered the end gables, adding blue-brick diapering and terracotta copings.

Pulford is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Poulton and Pulford, in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is on the B5445 road, to the south west of Chester and on the border with Wales. The civil parish, which included the hamlet of Cuckoo's Nest, was abolished on 1 April 2015 and merged with Poulton to form "Poulton and Pulford".According to the 2001 census, the population of the entire parish was 395, increasing to 580 at the 2011 census.

Poulton is a settlement and former civil parish, now in the parish of Poulton and Pulford, in the Cheshire West and Chester, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. In 2001 census the parish had a recorded population of 92.Since 1995, significant archaeological activity has been conducted in the area, first by the University of Liverpool and later by the independent group known as the Poulton Research Project.
