Oreton is a small village in the English county of Shropshire, in the civil parish of Farlow. Oreton is on a hill overlooking the River Rea and is some twelve miles southwest from Bridgnorth and four miles north from Cleobury Mortimer. There is a public house - the New Inn.

The village lies 8 miles (13 km) south-west of the market town of Bridgnorth and 10 miles (16 km) north-east of the town of Ludlow. The nearest main roads are the B4364 and the A4117. According to the 2001 census, the civil parish had a population of 74. The area's economy is still largely based on agriculture, though many residents travel up to 12 miles (19 km) to work in other sectors such as the service and manufacturing industries.

Loughton is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Wheathill, in Shropshire, England. In 1961 the parish had a population of 48.It is situated 9.5 miles (15.3 km) from Ludlow and is 10.7 miles (17.2 km) from Bridgnorth, which is the post town in Loughton addresses. The Church of England parish church in Loughton is still used today, though the school is not. The church is not visible from the road and is accessed by going up three precarious stone steps on the far side of Church Farm, just off the road. In the churchyard is a very old yew tree. Every summer, there is an annual barbecue in the Church grounds and every Christmas there is a Carol Service with punch and mince pies post-service. The church itself is very plain and simple in design, with no stained glass windows.

Cleeton St Mary (or Cleeton) is a small village in south Shropshire, England. It lies on the northeast slope of Titterstone Clee Hill, at an elevation of 316 metres (1,037 ft) above sea level. Cleeton forms part of the civil parish of Bitterley, even though the parish largely exists on the other side of Titterstone Clee, and Cleeton is effectively detached (by road). Burwarton is a small village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. Local governance is provided through the 'grouped' Parish Council for Aston Botterill, Burwarton and Cleobury North. The Parish falls within the Brown Clee Division of the Shropshire Unitary Council. There is no village meeting place, but the combined parishes share the facilities of the Village Hall at Cleobury North. The Burwarton Parish embraces most of the 'home estate' around Burwarton House. This rises westward from the main Bridgnorth-Ludlow road, passing north–south through the village, up to the ridge summit of Brown Clee Hill. Notable Landmarks and Events: nearby are Burwarton Cottage owned by the Scout organisation and Wenlock hills. The Shropshire Way passes along the western border of the parish close to the Brown Clee summit. Orienteering and Mountain Bike events take place periodically. The famous annual Burwarton Show has its offices here. The show is actually held in the adjacent village of Cleobury North. Public Footpaths criss-cross the parish and the Boyne Estate. Burwarton Parish Church is now a private residence. Burwarton House is the seat of Viscount Boyne, whose family gives their name to the village pub, the Boyne Arms.
