Tai Shui Hang Village (Chinese: 大水坑村; lit. 'Big Stream Village') is a historic village within the Tai Shui Hang area, in Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong.

Tai Shui Hang (Chinese: 大水坑; Cantonese Yale: Daaihséuihāang) is an MTR station on the Tuen Ma line in Hong Kong. It serves residential estates including Kam Tai Court, Mountain Shore, Chevalier Garden and Sausalito, Tai Shui Hang Village and Sha Tin Fishermen's New Village. It also serves five kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. The pattern featured on the platform pillar and glass barrier is a shot of nature representing the Ma On Shan Country Park. For a period before the line opened, the station was known as "Fu On", since it is located opposite Chevalier Garden (transliterated from Chinese "Fu On Garden").

Tak Sun Secondary School (TSSS; traditional Chinese: 德信中學; demonym: Tak Sun Boy) is a directly subsidized, English as Medium of Instruction, boys' school located at Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. The institution was established in 2000.Tak Sun is founded on Catholic Christian values, incorporates the involvement of parents in the education of their children and encourages their own personal growth as parents.

Mountain Shore (Chinese: 曉峯灣畔) is a private housing estate in Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong. The estate is one of the Hong Kong Housing Society's Sandwich Class Housing Scheme projects converted into private developments.The housing estate is built along Tide Cove. It comprises five high-rise buildings with a total of 1,124 units. It was developed by Hong Kong Housing Society in 2002. All units were initially sold within 9 hours in April 2002 at an average price of HK$2,900 per sq. ft.

Ah Kung Kok Fishermen Village (Chinese: 亞公角漁民新村) is a village in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.

Ma On Shan Road (Chinese: 馬鞍山路) is a major road in the new town of Ma On Shan in the New Territories of Hong Kong. The road extends northward from Tate's Cairn Highway near Tai Shui Hang along the eastern bank of the Shing Mun River. It ends in the north when it joins Sai Sha Road near Wu Kai Sha. Its branch road, the Ma On Shan Bypass, redirects traffic between Sha Tin and Sai Kung North away from the town centre near the Heng On Estate. It is the primary thoroughfare to Ma On Shan. A short section of the road north of Tate's Cairn Highway is an expressway.

Yan On Estate (Chinese: 欣安邨) is a public housing estate in Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong located south of Heng On Estate. The HK$800 million construction contract was awarded by the Housing Authority to Yau Lee Construction in 2009. The new estate opened in 2011 and comprises three blocks and a small commercial centre. It is designed to house about 6,800 residents in 2,587 flats. The estate is within walking distance of Heng On station on the Tuen Ma line.

The Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care (Chinese: 善寧會) (SPHC) is a non-profit NGO that advocates and provides hospice and palliative care services in Hong Kong, China. It also conducts end-of-life research, education, and training. The organisation’s subsidiaries – Jockey Club Home for Hospice (賽馬會善寧之家) and Jesse and Thomas Tam Centre (譚雅士杜佩珍安家舍) – provide palliative patient care and bereavement support respectively. The current Chairman is Dr Hubert Chan.

Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (Chinese: 沙田污水處理廠) is a sewage treatment facility in Hong Kong. It is located in Ma Liu Shui, Sha Tin, along the Shing Mun River, at its mouth into Sha Tin Hoi (Tide Cove). The treatment works serves Sha Tin, Ma On Shan and the villages nearby. The plant is managed by the Drainage Services Department.It was then extended in several stages. Stage I was first commissioned in 1982 with stage II following in 1986. Stage III was completed in September 2004.Construction work to move the sewage treatment facility to an artificial cave within Nui Po Shan, a nearby mountain, started in 2021.

Bradbury Hospice (Chinese: 白普理寧養中心; Cantonese Yale: Baahkpóuléih Nìhngyéuhng Jūngsām) is a hospice with 26 beds located in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It is under the New Territories East Cluster managed by the Hospital Authority.

Heng On (Chinese: 恆安; Cantonese Yale: Hàng'ōn) is a station on the Tuen Ma line of Hong Kong MTR, named after the nearby Heng On Estate. It also serves other residential areas like Kam Fung Court, Kam On Court, Baycrest, Vista Paradiso, and Yiu On Estate. It also serves over 10 schools (including Renaissance College) and two sports centres – Ma On Shan Sports Ground and Heng On Sports Centre. The print featured on the platform pillars and glass barrier is of farmland which used to exist in the Ma On Shan area.

Shatin Hospital, formerly known as Shatin Infirmary and Convalescent Hospital, commenced operation on 2 December 1991 and has been in full function since 1 February 1994. Shatin Hospital comprises 591 beds, 144 psychiatric day places, 398 geriatric day places and 49 hospice and palliative day places. It offers services which supplement the nearby Prince of Wales Hospital, the main hospital serving the region.The hospital is located at No. 33 A Kung Kok Street, A Kung Kok. It is surrounded by hills on three sides and it commands a view of the Shing Mun River and Penfold Park. Other institutions in close proximity include the Cheshire Home and the Bradbury Hospice. Shatin Hospital provides services in medicine and geriatrics, surgery, adult psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, oncology and hospice care. The hospital is also equipped with a sleep assessment unit.In line with the Hospital Authority's corporate direction of seamless healthcare, Shatin Hospital has established a Community Geriatric Assessment Team, Community Psychiatric Team and Psycho-geriatric Outreach Team. The hospital also offers a Community Psychiatric Nursing Service, which offers nursing care to patients in their own homes.The hospital also includes a therapeutic garden and health track for convalescent patients. The facility is specially designed to enable patients to break away from the confines of the wards and indoor gymnasium to receive outdoor rehabilitation treatment in a more spacious and open garden, which will also help them to re-integrate into the community. The garden is equipped with a host of simulated transport facilities such as mock MTR train compartments, taxis and minibuses to train patients to use public transport despite physical impairment. Patients are also encouraged to use the facilities after discharge.
