Mountain Shore

Tak Sun Secondary School (TSSS; traditional Chinese: 德信中學; demonym: Tak Sun Boy) is a directly subsidized, English as Medium of Instruction, boys' school located at Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. The institution was established in 2000.Tak Sun is founded on Catholic Christian values, incorporates the involvement of parents in the education of their children and encourages their own personal growth as parents.

Tai Shui Hang (Chinese: 大水坑; Cantonese Yale: Daaihséuihāang) is an MTR station on the Tuen Ma line in Hong Kong. It serves residential estates including Kam Tai Court, Mountain Shore, Chevalier Garden and Sausalito, Tai Shui Hang Village and Sha Tin Fishermen's New Village. It also serves five kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. The pattern featured on the platform pillar and glass barrier is a shot of nature representing the Ma On Shan Country Park. For a period before the line opened, the station was known as "Fu On", since it is located opposite Chevalier Garden (transliterated from Chinese "Fu On Garden").

Tai Shui Hang Village (Chinese: 大水坑村; lit. 'Big Stream Village') is a historic village within the Tai Shui Hang area, in Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, New Territories, Hong Kong.

Yan On Estate (Chinese: 欣安邨) is a public housing estate in Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong located south of Heng On Estate. The HK$800 million construction contract was awarded by the Housing Authority to Yau Lee Construction in 2009. The new estate opened in 2011 and comprises three blocks and a small commercial centre. It is designed to house about 6,800 residents in 2,587 flats. The estate is within walking distance of Heng On station on the Tuen Ma line.

Ma On Shan Road (Chinese: 馬鞍山路) is a major road in the new town of Ma On Shan in the New Territories of Hong Kong. The road extends northward from Tate's Cairn Highway near Tai Shui Hang along the eastern bank of the Shing Mun River. It ends in the north when it joins Sai Sha Road near Wu Kai Sha. Its branch road, the Ma On Shan Bypass, redirects traffic between Sha Tin and Sai Kung North away from the town centre near the Heng On Estate. It is the primary thoroughfare to Ma On Shan. A short section of the road north of Tate's Cairn Highway is an expressway.

Chevalier Garden (Chinese: 富安花園) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong near MTR Tai Shui Hang station. It was jointly developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Chevalier Group, and it was the first HOS court developed by Chevalier Group. It has a total of seventeen blocks built between 1987 and 1988.

Sha Tin Hoi / Sha Tin Sea (Chinese: 沙田海; Jyutping: saa1 tin4 hoi2; pinyin: Shā​tián Hǎi) or Tide Cove is a cove at the mouth of the Shing Mun River. It is between Ma Liu Shui and Ma On Shan. The cove is open to Tolo Harbour (Tai Po Hoi). It was largely reclaimed for the development of Sha Tin New Town. Tide Cove may shrink further in the future, as the government is exploring further land reclamation at Ma Liu Shui.

Heng On (Chinese: 恆安; Cantonese Yale: Hàng'ōn) is a station on the Tuen Ma line of Hong Kong MTR, named after the nearby Heng On Estate. It also serves other residential areas like Kam Fung Court, Kam On Court, Baycrest, Vista Paradiso, and Yiu On Estate. It also serves over 10 schools (including Renaissance College) and two sports centres – Ma On Shan Sports Ground and Heng On Sports Centre. The print featured on the platform pillars and glass barrier is of farmland which used to exist in the Ma On Shan area.

Renaissance College ( ; Chinese: 啓新書院, abbreviated: RCHK) is a private independent international school run by English Schools Foundation (ESF) in Hong Kong. Located in Ma On Shan near Heng On station, Renaissance College serves primary and secondary students. The school was founded in 2006 to replace the Phoenix International School, another school run by ESF. Since its inception, the school has offered the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Renaissance College began to offer the IB Career-Related Programme in 2014.As of September 2018, Renaissance College enrolls 2,094 students. Under the Private Independent School Scheme, at least 70% of the students of Renaissance College must be Hong Kong permanent residents when at full capacity.

Ah Kung Kok Fishermen Village (Chinese: 亞公角漁民新村) is a village in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.

Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (Chinese: 沙田污水處理廠) is a sewage treatment facility in Hong Kong. It is located in Ma Liu Shui, Sha Tin, along the Shing Mun River, at its mouth into Sha Tin Hoi (Tide Cove). The treatment works serves Sha Tin, Ma On Shan and the villages nearby. The plant is managed by the Drainage Services Department.It was then extended in several stages. Stage I was first commissioned in 1982 with stage II following in 1986. Stage III was completed in September 2004.Construction work to move the sewage treatment facility to an artificial cave within Nui Po Shan, a nearby mountain, started in 2021.
