The Macquarie University Hospital (abbreviated MUH) is a private teaching hospital owned by Macquarie University. The hospital is located within Macquarie University and is the first private hospital to be located on a university campus in Australia. The hospital is located near Macquarie University railway station and is also within the University's Research Park. Construction costs for the hospital were over $200 million including fit-out costs. The hospital comprises 144 beds, 14 operating theatres, and is staffed by over 200 surgeons and medical specialists. It has an imaging centre (MMI imaging) and a radiation oncology unit (Genesis Cancer Care). There are no emergency services at Macquarie University Hospital. The nearest emergency departments are at Ryde Hospital, Concord Hospital, or Royal North Shore Hospital.

Christie Park is a sportsground located in the Northern Suburbs Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park. Christie Park is the home to FNSW NPL team, NWS Spirit FC. The park is owned by Ryde Council and leased to North West Sydney Football (formerly GHFA). The ground is used for semi-professional competitions such as NPL and WNPL. It is also used for the amateur men's & women's competition run by NWSF. Christie Park is also the home of the local refereeing association the North West Sydney Football Referees Association (NWSFRA).

Macquarie University railway station is a metro station located on the Metro North West Line line, serving the Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park including the nearby Macquarie University and Macquarie Centre, as well as parts of the suburb of Marsfield. It was formerly part of the Sydney Trains T1 Northern Line, before being converted to metro use as part of the Sydney Metro network. It is the only train station in Australia which bears the name of a university.

The Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology (CoESB) is a research centre that combines molecular biology, biotechnology, engineering, philosophy and ethics to design and build microbes that produce valuable products from agricultural and municipal waste. The Centre aims to use these microbes to seed a bio-based circular economy and leverage Australia's strengths in agriculture.The CoESB was awarded A$35 million in funding by the Australian Research Council, A$1 million from the New South Wales Government and A$13.1 million from partner organisations including Australian and international universities, public and private companies and government departments. As of December 2021 CoESB members have attracted A$23 million in additional funding from competitive grant schemes.The Centre held a virtual soft launch on 8 December 2020 and is planned to run for seven years (2020-2027).One start-up company, Samsara, has been spun out the Centre. Samsara is an enviro-tech company using bacterial enzymes to recycle otherwise hard to recycle plastics.

The Macquarie University Real Tennis Club (formerly the Sydney Real Tennis Club) played real tennis at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Its only court closed on 31 December 2005, converted to other athletic uses. However, the university has agreed to provide land for another court as well as A$350,000 toward its construction. The club is working to provide additional funds required to begin construction. The real tennis club is still formally organized, and members may play at other real tennis clubs. It had been one of only five Australian real tennis clubs with courts, and now joins Real Tennis Perth as a club without a playing venue. The Sydney Real Tennis Club was reformed in June 2011 with the mission of establishing a new court in Sydney. The Cheltenham Recreation Club has become a confirmed location, that is yet to be built in to a real tennis venue.

Macquarie University ( mə-KWORR-ee) is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Macquarie Park. Founded in 1964 by the New South Wales Government, it was the third university to be established in the metropolitan area of Sydney.Established as a verdant university, Macquarie has five faculties, as well as the Macquarie University Hospital and the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, which are located on the university's main campus in suburban Sydney. Morling College is a Baptist college in Macquarie Park, New South Wales. It is affiliated with the Australian Baptist Ministries. It is an approved teaching institution of the Australian College of Theology and a registered teaching institution of the University of Divinity, and is a member of the South Pacific Association of Bible Colleges. The principal is the Revd Ross Clifford AM.

Macquarie Park () is a suburb in the Northern Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Macquarie Park is located 13 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Ryde.Macquarie Park was part of the suburb of North Ryde until it was gazetted as a suburb in its own right on 5 February 1999, and many businesses still use North Ryde as the address. Both suburbs share the 2113 postcode but Macquarie University, which is located at the northern part of the suburb, has its own postcode of 2109.

West Pymble is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north-west of the Sydney Central Business District in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council. Pymble is a separate suburb to the east, sharing the postcode of 2073.
