Susan B. Anthony House, in Rochester, New York, was the home of Susan B. Anthony for forty years, while she was a national figure in the women's rights movement. She was arrested in the front parlor after voting in the 1872 Presidential Election. She resided here until her death.The house was purchased for use as a memorial in 1945, and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965. It has been documented in the Historic American Buildings Survey.The Susan B. Anthony House is located at 17 Madison Street in Rochester. Access to the house is through the Susan B. Anthony Museum entrance at 19 Madison Street. Today the Susan B. Anthony House is a learning center and museum open to the public for tours and programs from 11-5 Tuesday through Sunday, except major holidays. Its full name is the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House. The Visitor Center and Museum Shop are located in the historic house next door, 19 Madison Street, which was owned by Hannah Anthony Mosher, sister of Susan and Mary Anthony. The mission of the Susan B. Anthony House is to keep Susan B. Anthony's vision alive and relevant. The house hosts an annual celebration of Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which gave women the right to vote. In 2011, the New York Times reported that the museum at the house had sold a large quantity of "a $250 handbag made of fake alligator that was inspired by one of Anthony’s own club bags, similar to a doctor’s bag," noting that for Anthony, "a bag was not a fashion statement but a symbol of independence at a time when women were not allowed to enter into a contract or even open a bank account."Papers and memorabilia about the suffrage movement were donated to the house at the request of Carrie Chapman Catt, Susan B. Anthony's successor as President of the National American Woman Suffrage Association. They are held by the River Campus Libraries of the University of Rochester.The House's president wrote to "decline" President Donald Trump's August 2020 pardon to Anthony, on the principle that to accept a pardon would wrongly "validate" the trial proceedings in the same manner that paying the $100 fine would have.A fire early on the morning of September 26, 2021 damaged the back porch and a doorway and caused smoke damage inside. Surveillance video showed someone acting suspiciously at the time of the fire.

Nick Tahou Hots is a restaurant in Rochester, New York, best known for a dish called the Garbage Plate. The restaurant was founded in 1918 by Alex Tahou, the grandfather of the 21st-century owner (also named Alex Tahou), and named for Nick Tahou, the founder's son, who operated the establishment until his death in 1997. While there are other Upstate New York variants, Nick Tahou's is the originator of the trademarked Garbage Plate.

Church of Saints Peter and Paul Complex, now known as the Coptic Monastery of Saint Shenouda, is a historic Roman Catholic church complex located on the edge of the Susan B. Anthony neighborhood of Rochester, Monroe County, New York. The complex consists of the Italian Renaissance Revival style church (1911), former school (1912), rectory (1926), and rectory garage (1926). The church features a loggia and 145 feet tall bell tower. The school has been converted to 12 apartments. The church was sold to the Coptic Monastery of Saint Shenouda in 2007.: 3–4, 6 The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Main & Oak is a former Rochester Industrial and Rapid Transit Railway station located in Rochester, New York. The line was near a connection to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and the Oak Street Loop. It was closed in 1956 along with the rest of the line.The Broad Street Tunnel Project rehabilitated some sections and the subway tunnel where this station had been located, between Main Street and Brown Street, was filled in. The new west portal to the tunnel is just west of this station along Broad Street.

Bridge Square Historic District is a national historic district located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district contains 24 contributing buildings that consist primarily of two-, three-, and four-story brick masonry commercial and industrial buildings. Structures date from 1826 to 1928, the oldest being the U.S. Hotel (1826), that served as the location of the founding of the University of Rochester and Colgate Divinity School.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Innovative Field (originally known as Frontier Field) is a baseball stadium located at One Morrie Silver Way in downtown Rochester, New York. It has been the home of the Rochester Red Wings of the International League since 1997. The park opened in 1996, replacing Silver Stadium in northern Rochester, which had been home to professional baseball in Rochester since 1929. Although the stadium was built for baseball, Innovative Field has had several tenants in numerous sports, including the Rochester Raging Rhinos of the United Soccer Leagues from 1996 to 2005, and the Rochester Rattlers of Major League Lacrosse from 2001 to 2002. The ballpark seats 10,840 spectators for baseball.Rochester-based telecommunications company Frontier Telephone of Rochester held the naming rights to the ballpark from its opening in 1996 until the 2022 baseball offseason. Originally in December 2015 agreement was reached to maintain the name for a further ten years, however, on October 24, 2022, a new naming rights agreement was reached with Innovative Solutions, a Henrietta-based IT services company at the request of both Innovative and Frontier who was looking to cut back on sponsorship costs after the company filed for bankruptcy in 2020, changing the name of the stadium to Innovative Field pending final approval.

Rochester Community Sports Complex Stadium, also called the "downtown soccer stadium", is a soccer-specific stadium in Rochester, New York within the Rochester Community Sports Complex. It is home to the Flower City Union of the National Independent Soccer Association. Previously to the Flower City Union, the stadium was home in 2018 to the Rochester Lancers and Lady Lancers of the NPSL and UWS, respectively. The stadium originally hosted the Rochester Rhinos of the USL, the Rochester Rattlers of MLL, and the Western New York Flash of the NWSL. The stadium hosts other sporting events such as collegiate soccer, Rochester Rhinos Elite youth soccer games and practices, American football, field hockey and drum and bugle corps competitions as well as concerts, as well as occasionally hosting the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Section V football championship and Far West Regional championship (played between Sections V and VI). It is owned by the City of Rochester and is operated as a youth sports complex.

Hervey Ely House, also known as the Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter House, is a historic home located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It was built about 1837 in the Greek Revival style. It is a 2½ story brick structure covered in stucco. The house has been owned since 1920 by the Irondequoit chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.It is located within the boundaries of the Third Ward Historic District. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

Washington Street Rowhouses are a pair of historic rowhouses located in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The two-story, three-bay, brick row houses were built about 1840 in the Greek Revival style. They have pitched roofs, interior end chimneys, applied wooden cornices, and side by side entrances that adjoin the party wall.They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Not Dead Yet (NDY) is a United States disability rights group that opposes assisted suicide and euthanasia for disabled people. Diane Coleman, is the founder and president. In 2004, NDY protested against the removal of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. It also protested against the movie Million Dollar Baby, in which the injection of an overdose of epinephrine to euthanize a suicidal quadriplegic woman is depicted as a rational and compassionate act. The group has been highly critical of utilitarian philosophers such as Peter Singer of Princeton University. Coleman has called Professor Singer "the most dangerous man on earth" and asserted that he was advocating genocide. In June 2015, NDY organized protests against Singer's position that new-born babies with certain disabilities can morally be killed, which he sees as no different from abortion. The 2015 protest happened because Singer had recently advocated that expensive treatments should be withheld from disabled babies to save the healthcare system money; Not Dead Yet’s first protest against Singer happened at Princeton University after it hired Singer in 1998. Both times the protesters called for Princeton University to dismiss Singer.

Kodak Tower is a 19-story skyscraper in the High Falls District of Rochester, New York, and is part of the Eastman Kodak Headquarters complex. It has a roof height of 340 ft (103.6 m) and stands 366 ft (111.6 m) with its antenna spire included. It was Rochester's tallest building for over 50 years from its completion in 1914 until the Xerox Square Tower surpassed it in the late 1960s. Today, it is the 4th tallest building in Rochester and is the 9th tallest building in New York state outside New York City. The Kodak Tower has long been recognized as a landmark in the Rochester skyline, and an icon in the world of film photography. The building has also been called the "nerve center of photography".The Eastman Kodak Company owns the skyscraper, and it remains the company's headquarters. In 2008, Kodak undertook work to repair and restore the exterior of the building.
