Bedford Presbyterian Church

Bedford is a town in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 23,322, reflecting a growth of 10% from 2010. Bedford is a suburb of Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city.

The Bedford Town Hall is located at 70 Bedford Center Road in Bedford, New Hampshire. Built in 1910, it is a prominent early work of Chase R. Whitcher, a noted architect of northern New England in the early 20th century. The building is the third town hall to stand on this site, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

WBNH-LP is an alternative rock formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Bedford, New Hampshire, serving Manchester, and its immediate southern and western suburbs in New Hampshire. WBNH-LP is owned and operated by Town of Bedford, New Hampshire.The station was assigned the WBNH-LP call sign on November 6, 2014, and was licensed on February 8, 2016.

Bedford High School is a public high school in the town of Bedford, New Hampshire, United States. The high school adjoins the town's Ross A. Lurgio Middle School (7th and 8th grades). The combined schools are situated on a 40-acre (160,000 m2) campus at 47 Nashua Road. The two schools share an 810-seat theatre, a 2000-seat gymnasium, a FieldTurf football field and a synthetic 400-meter track. The approximate cost for constructing this facility in combination with Lurgio was $50 million. Bedford High School's mascot is the bulldog, which was determined from a polling by the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in early 2006. The polling also determined the school colors, which are red, black, and silver. Bedford's sports program was recognized as the 20th best in the nation by maxpreps.com in 2013–14.The school employs a two-level system, which are the PSP level and the IB/Honors level. This was based on a general consensus taken in the fall of 2006. The school also offers rigorous Advanced Placement courses and IB courses for students. Bedford High was the first school in the state of New Hampshire to offer IB classes, and the first group of IB Diploma students graduated with the rest of the first senior class in June 2010. A total of 11 seniors earned the IB Diploma.

Saint Joseph Cemetery is a Corporal Work of Mercy of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Manchester, New Hampshire. It is administered in his name by the pastor and people of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Manchester. Situated on 110 acres (45 ha) on two sites, the older in Manchester and the newer in Bedford, New Hampshire, it has served the Catholic families of Manchester for over 160 years.

Saint Anselm College is a private Benedictine liberal arts college in Goffstown, New Hampshire. Founded in 1888, it is the third-oldest Catholic college in New England. Named for Saint Anselm of Canterbury, the college continues to have a fully functioning and independent Benedictine abbey attached to it, Saint Anselm Abbey. As of 2017, its enrollment was approximately 2,000. The college's academic curriculum requires several philosophy and theology courses as well as the "Conversatio" program. Since the 1950s, the college has played a role in the "first in the nation" New Hampshire primary, and has served as a stage for many future presidents, candidates, and supporters.

Saint Anselm Abbey, located in Goffstown, New Hampshire, United States, is a Benedictine abbey composed of men living under the Rule of Saint Benedict within the Catholic Church. The abbey was founded in 1889 under the patronage of Saint Anselm of Canterbury, a Benedictine monk of Bec and former archbishop of Canterbury in England. The monks are involved in the operation of Saint Anselm College. The abbey is a member of the American-Cassinese Congregation of the Benedictine Confederation.

Sebbins Pond is an approximately 20-acre (81,000 m2) body of water in Bedford, New Hampshire. It is located in the eastern part of the town, between Back River Road and the Everett Turnpike. It is named for a man with the last name of Sebbins, who in 1735 set up shop at a site near the pond to make shingles, which he then dragged down to the nearby Merrimack River to ship – two years before the first permanent settlement in Bedford in 1737. Sebbins Pond is the largest body of water totally within the town boundaries. It is bounded on the southwest side by Camp Kettleford, which is owned and operated by the Swift Water Council of the Girl Scouts of the USA, which uses the pond for canoeing and swimming. The rest of Sebbins Pond is bounded by approximately 20 private homes, many of which are former summer cabins or houses that have been winterized and expanded. There is no public access to the pond. The pond is fed by several springs and by a small stream draining from nearby Silver Springs Pond ("Muddy Pond" on some maps). Its outlet is Sebbins Brook, which leads southeast, combines with the outfall from Sandy Pond, and continues to the Merrimack River. Like all water bodies greater than 10 acres (4.0 ha) in New Hampshire, Sebbins is a great pond, public property held in trust by the state.

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) is an academic institute at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire. Founded in 2001, the institute has hosted hundreds of potential candidates for the U.S. presidency.

Pinardville is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. It is a suburban neighborhood adjacent to the city of Manchester. The population was 5,034 at the 2020 census. Pinardville has existed since 1906.

The Varney School is a historic school building at 84 Varney Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. Built in 1890 and enlarged in 1914-15, it is a well-preserved example of a Late Victorian school building, and an emblem of the growth in that time of the city's west side. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It has been converted to residential use.

The Piscataquog River is a 34.7-mile-long (55.8 km) river located in southern New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Merrimack River, which flows to the Gulf of Maine. The Piscataquog River begins at the outlet of Deering Reservoir, a lake in Deering, New Hampshire. The river takes a winding course north, then east, then south, then east again through Hillsborough County to reach the Merrimack River in Manchester. On its way, it passes through the town of Weare, where it is impounded in two reservoirs — Weare Reservoir (or "Lake Horace") and Everett Lake. Everett Lake is part of the watershed-spanning Hopkinton-Everett flood control reservoir — a canal crossing the drainage divide connects Everett Lake to Hopkinton Reservoir, which impounds the Contoocook River. The Piscataquog proceeds south from the Everett Dam along the eastern side of Weare, entering Goffstown shortly before the river's junction with the South Branch, the Piscataquog's largest tributary. From Goffstown to the river's mouth there are two small reservoirs and several additional dams, each constructed for hydroelectric power or older industrial development. In west Manchester, the Piscataquog passes under the Nazaire Biron Bridge and reaches the Merrimack River just upstream of the Queen City Bridge.
