Cowes Enterprise College, previously known as Cowes High School, is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status located on the outskirts of Cowes at Crossfield Avenue on the Isle of Wight, England.

All Saints' Church, Gurnard is a parish church in the Church of England located in Gurnard, Isle of Wight.

Gurnard is a village and civil parish on the Isle of Wight, two miles to the west of Cowes. Gurnard sits on the edge of Gurnard Bay, enjoyed by the Gurnard Sailing Club. Gurnard's main street features a pub (Portland Inn), a few shops and a few houses. The west end of the beach is Gurnard Marsh and a stream called "The Luck" which discharges into the Solent. A fortification known as Gurnard Fort was built on a headland west of Gurnard Marsh about 1600. The land was eroded, however, and all traces disappeared until an archaeological excavation of a Roman villa in 1864 uncovered traces of Gurnard Fort as well.Transport is provided by Southern Vectis route 32 to and from Cowes, and route 1 to Cowes and Newport, Isle of Wight.

Rosetta Cottage, is a Victorian manor house situated in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Initially a single residence, it now consists of two smaller holiday homes, Rosetta Cottage, and East Rosetta Cottage, both of which are owned and operated by the National Trust.It is notable for being the location of the marriage proposal between Lord Randolph Churchill and Jennie Jerome, the parents of future Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Egypt Point is the northernmost point of the island county of the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England, and was one of Queen Victoria's favoured places during her time on the island. According to the Post Office at the 2011 Census the point population was included in the civil parish of Northwood, Isle of Wight. Egypt Point lies in between the town of Cowes and the village of Gurnard. Between 1897 and 1989 a lighthouse was maintained there by Trinity House. It flashed white every ten seconds, with a range of 10 nautical miles (19 km; 12 mi). Initially lit by paraffin, in 1925 it was converted to run automatically on acetylene; then in 1969 it was converted to run on electricity. In 1989 the 'changing requirements of the Mariner' led to the light being decommissioned. Though the light no longer functions, the structure remains a landmark for yachtsmen. In 1997 ownership was transferred from Trinity House to the new Isle of Wight Council.Egypt Point derives its name from a nearby gypsy encampment from the 16th century. It is now a popular vantage point for the annual Round the Island Race which starts and ends at Cowes.

St Mary the Virgin Church, Cowes is a Church of England parish church in Cowes, Isle of Wight. It is in Church Road, next to Northwood House.

Cowes () is an English seaport town and civil parish on the Isle of Wight. Cowes is located on the west bank of the estuary of the River Medina, facing the smaller town of East Cowes on the east bank. The two towns are linked by the Cowes Floating Bridge, a chain ferry. Cowes has a population of 14,370 according to the 2021 Census.Charles Godfrey Leland's 19th-century verses describe the towns poetically as "The two great Cowes that in loud thunder roar/This on the eastern, that the western shore". Cowes has been seen as a home for international yacht racing since the founding of the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1815. It gives its name to the world's oldest regular regatta, Cowes Week, which occurs annually in the first week of August. Later, powerboat races are held. Much of the town's architecture is still heavily influenced by the style of ornate building that Prince Albert popularised.

The Isle of Wight Jewish Society is a Reform Jewish congregation, located in Cowes, in the Isle of Wight, England, in the United Kingdom. Founded in June 2005, the congregation became a member of the Movement for Reform Judaism in June 2021. The community meets in members' homes. The Bournemouth Reform Synagogue has acted as the mother congregation to the Society.

Northwood is a village and civil parish on the Isle of Wight. It lies south of the town of Cowes and has been occupied for about 1000 years. The Church of St. John the Baptist in Northwood, was first built between the 11th and 13th centuries. There is a primary school in Northwood which was first begun in 1855. Until 1990 it still featured an outside toilet. The main form of transport is Southern Vectis bus route 1, which runs every 7–8 minutes in the daytime to Cowes and Newport, along the main road. Local bus service route 32 is provided by the setting up of a Joint Scheme involving Southern Vectis and the Parish Council mid-2011. Several changes to this route have occurred after Southern Vectis withdrew their 27 to Cowes and 28 to Newport.

St Faith's Church, Cowes is a parish church in the Church of England located in Cowes, Isle of Wight. In October 2013, the Diocese of Portsmouth revealed plans to close the church and merge the parish into a team ministry with other nearby churches. The parish now (as of 2021) forms part of the parish of All Saints, Gurnard, with St Faith, Cowes. The priest-in-charge of the adjacent parish of Northwood is as of 2021 also the priest-in-charge of All Saints with St Faith, and Church of England services are no longer held at the church.

Cowes railway station was a railway station in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England. It took pride in being the "prettiest station on the Garden Isle".
