Kami-Itabashi Station

Itabashi (板橋区, Itabashi-ku) is a special ward located in Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. In English, it calls itself Itabashi City. Itabashi has sister-city relations with Burlington, Ontario, in Canada; Shijingshan District of Beijing in the People's Republic of China; and Bologna in Italy. As of May 1, 2015, the ward has an estimated population of 547,270, and a population density of 16,990 persons per km2. The total area is 32.22 km2.

Jōhoku-Chūō Park (城北中央公園, Jōhoku-Chūō Kōen) is a public park that straddles the Nerima and Itabashi wards of Tokyo in Japan. The western half of the park lies in Nerima Ward, while the eastern half is in Itabashi Ward. The park opened on 1 April 1957.

The Moro Heritage Site (茂呂遺跡, Moro iseki), shown on some maps as Moro Heritage, is an archaeological site where stone tools from the Paleolithic Age (between 3.3 million years ago and c. 11,650 cal BP) were found in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, Japan.

The Kurihara Ruins (栗原遺跡, Kurihara iseki), shown on some maps as the Shirokita Central Park Kuirhara ruins, are the site of some ruins of a dwelling found in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, Japan. Today, a modern (1950s) reconstruction of a pit-house stands on the site and is registered as a historic site of Nerima Ward.

It has been a subsidiary of Nidec Corporation since 1998, and was formerly known as the Copal Corporation. The company began operation in 1946, with small-scale production of photographic shutters; these are still one of the company's best-known products. In the 1960s the company began producing the well-known Copal Square vertically travelling metal blade focal plane shutter, which was very successful and was used in cameras by many prominent manufacturers. The Copal Square-S, for example used in the Konica T3s (1973-1978) and the Nikkormat FT, is very reliable. It works over a wide temperature range. The electronically controlled Copal Square E (1968) was used in the Yashica TL Electro X, the Canon EF, the Nikkormat EL. For Minolta XE and the Leica R3 the Copal-Leitz Shutter CLS was developed in 1972. For the professional Nikon F4 built 1988 until 1996 the Copal Square was developed and reached 1/8000 s and 1/250 s with flash.In 2020 Nidec Copal has round about 6,450 employees and manufactures devices, that are used in automobiles, optical products and Tablets beside shutters for digital cameras.
