Yanchang Road station

Line 1 is a north-south line of the Shanghai Metro. It runs from Fujin Road in the north, via Shanghai Railway Station to Xinzhuang in the south. The first line to open in the Shanghai Metro system, Line 1 serves many important points in Shanghai, including People's Square and Xujiahui. Due to the large number of important locations served, this line is extremely busy, with a daily ridership of over 1,000,000 passengers. The line is colored red on system maps. Generally, the line runs at grade beside the Shanghai–Hangzhou railway in the south, underground in the city center and elevated on the second deck of the North–South Elevated Road in the North.

Shanghai Circus World (simplified Chinese: 上海马戏城; traditional Chinese: 上海馬戲城; pinyin: Shànghǎi Mǎxì Chéng) is a metro station on Shanghai Metro Line 1 in the former Zhabei District, now Jing'an District. It entered operation on 28 December 2004, as part of a northern extension of Line 1 from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun.The station is named after the Shanghai Circus World, an indoor circus near the station. Other points of interest nearby include Guangzhong Park and Zhabei Stadium.

Zhabei Stadium (simplified Chinese: 闸北体育场; traditional Chinese: 閘北體育場; pinyin: Zháběi Tǐyùchǎng) is a multi-use stadium in Shanghai. It is currently used mostly for football matches and athletics events. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people with 16,000 seats and about 4,000 people in all standing place.

North Xizang Road (Chinese: 西藏北路; pinyin: Xīzàng Běi Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007.

North Zhongshan Road (Chinese: 中山北路; pinyin: Zhōngshān Běi Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. This station is part of the northern extension of that line from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun that opened on 28 December 2004. It is named after Zhongshan Road, the inner ring-road of Shanghai.

Zhongxing Road (simplified Chinese: 中兴路; traditional Chinese: 中興路; pinyin: Zhōngxīng Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007. Lines 3 and 4 pass by without stopping.

Zhabei, formerly romanized as Chapei, is a neighborhood and a former district of Shanghai with a land area of 29.26 km2 (11.30 sq mi) and a resident population of 847,300 as of 2013. It is the location of the Shanghai railway station, one of the main railway stations of Shanghai. On November 4, 2015, Zhabei was merged into the smaller but more central Jing'an District.Historically, the district has been highly populated with working class residents. However, due to the shift in the structure of industries and increasing number of immigrants from outside Shanghai, partly due to its reasonable real estate price (compared to its counterparts such as Putuo and Hongkou), the district has become increasingly appealing to city residents.

Shanghai station (simplified Chinese: 上海火车站; traditional Chinese: 上海火車站; pinyin: Shànghǎi Huǒchēzhàn; Shanghainese: Zånhae Hutsuzae) is one of the four major railway stations in Shanghai, China, the others being Shanghai South, Shanghai Hongqiao, and Shanghai West (Shanghaixi). The station is located on Moling Road, Jing'an District, to the North of the city centre. It is governed by Shanghai Railway Bureau and is one of the most important hubs of the railway network in China.

Hongkou Football Stadium (simplified Chinese: 虹口足球场; traditional Chinese: 虹口足球場; pinyin: Hóngkǒu Zúqiúchǎng) is a football stadium in Shanghai, China. Located in Hongkou District, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 33,060. It is the first ever football stadium to be built in China. The stadium was re-built in 1999, over the previous 46-year-old Hongkou Stadium, a general use sports stadium now replaced by the Shanghai Stadium. It is adjacent to Lu Xun Park.

Wenshui Road (Chinese: 汶水路; pinyin: Wènshuǐ Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. This station is part of the northern extension of that line from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun that opened on 28 December 2004.

Shanghai Railway Station (simplified Chinese: 上海火车站; traditional Chinese: 上海火車站; pinyin: Shànghǎi Huǒchēzhàn) is an interchange station between lines 1, 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro. It is one of the stations where Line 3 and Line 4 share the same tracks and elevated platforms. The transfer between Line 1 and lines 3 and 4 is actually quite long. Both metro stations are located on the opposing sides of the train station with a long tunnel connecting both platforms. In addition to being an interchange between metro lines, the station facilitates transfer to Shanghai's main railway station. A tunnel leads directly from the concourse of the metro station to the concourse of the railway station. This station served as the northern terminus of Line 1 before the extension to Gongfu Xincun opened on 28 December 2004.

Zhongtan Road (Chinese: 中潭路; pinyin: Zhōngtán Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 3 and Line 4. It's near Tanziwan, a river Bay on Suzhou Creek. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005.
