Shanghai railway station

50 Moganshan Road (Chinese: 莫干山路50号) or "M50" is a contemporary art district in Shanghai, China, that houses a community of more than a hundred artists whose studios are open to the public. It is often compared with New York's SoHo and Beijing's 798 Art Zone. The art quarter has become a popular cultural attraction for local and international visitors alike, and was named among the top ten things to do in Shanghai by Time Magazine.

Fuck Off (Chinese: 不合作方式; pinyin: Bù Hézuò Fāngshì) was a contemporary art exhibition which ran alongside the Third Shanghai Biennale (2000) in Shanghai, China. The exhibition's title translates as "Uncooperative Attitude" in Chinese, but the blunter English language sentiment was deemed preferable. The exhibition encompassed conceptual, performance, and protest art.

Shanghai Railway Station (simplified Chinese: 上海火车站; traditional Chinese: 上海火車站; pinyin: Shànghǎi Huǒchēzhàn) is an interchange station between lines 1, 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro. It is one of the stations where Line 3 and Line 4 share the same tracks and elevated platforms. The transfer between Line 1 and lines 3 and 4 is actually quite long. Both metro stations are located on the opposing sides of the train station with a long tunnel connecting both platforms. In addition to being an interchange between metro lines, the station facilitates transfer to Shanghai's main railway station. A tunnel leads directly from the concourse of the metro station to the concourse of the railway station. This station served as the northern terminus of Line 1 before the extension to Gongfu Xincun opened on 28 December 2004.

Zhabei, formerly romanized as Chapei, is a neighborhood and a former district of Shanghai with a land area of 29.26 km2 (11.30 sq mi) and a resident population of 847,300 as of 2013. It is the location of the Shanghai railway station, one of the main railway stations of Shanghai. On November 4, 2015, Zhabei was merged into the smaller but more central Jing'an District.Historically, the district has been highly populated with working class residents. However, due to the shift in the structure of industries and increasing number of immigrants from outside Shanghai, partly due to its reasonable real estate price (compared to its counterparts such as Putuo and Hongkou), the district has become increasingly appealing to city residents.

Zhongtan Road (Chinese: 中潭路; pinyin: Zhōngtán Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 3 and Line 4. It's near Tanziwan, a river Bay on Suzhou Creek. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005.

North Zhongshan Road (Chinese: 中山北路; pinyin: Zhōngshān Běi Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. This station is part of the northern extension of that line from Shanghai Railway Station to Gongfu Xincun that opened on 28 December 2004. It is named after Zhongshan Road, the inner ring-road of Shanghai.

Jiangning Road (simplified Chinese: 江宁路; traditional Chinese: 江寧路; pinyin: Jiāngníng Lù) is a station on the Shanghai Metro, which services Line 13 and opened on December 19, 2015. Travelling eastward, this station is the last station in Putuo District before it passes under the Suzhou Creek to Jing'an District.

Hanzhong Road (simplified Chinese: 汉中路; traditional Chinese: 漢中路; pinyin: Hànzhōng Lù) is the name of an interchange station between Line 1, Line 12, and Line 13 of the Shanghai Metro, located in Jing'an District north of Suzhou Creek within the inner ring-road of Shanghai. It opened on 10 April 1995 as part of the section between Jinjiang Park and Shanghai Railway Station. On 19 December 2015, the interchange with Lines 12 and 13 opened. In February 2016 computerized light butterflies were added, and the government is also experimenting with videos on pillars.

The Jade Buddha Temple (simplified Chinese: 玉佛禅寺; traditional Chinese: 玉佛禪寺; pinyin: Yùfó Chán Sì; Shanghainese: Niohveh Zoe Zy, literally Jade Buddha Chan Temple) is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Myanmar by sea. These were a sitting Buddha (1.95 meters tall, 3 tons), and a smaller reclining Buddha representing the Buddha's death. The temple now also contains a much larger reclining Buddha made of marble, donated from Singapore, and visitors may mistake this larger sculpture for the original, smaller piece.

Zhongxing Road (simplified Chinese: 中兴路; traditional Chinese: 中興路; pinyin: Zhōngxīng Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007. Lines 3 and 4 pass by without stopping.

Shanghai Natural History Museum (simplified Chinese: 自然博物馆; traditional Chinese: 自然博物館; pinyin: Zìrán Bówùguǎn) is a station on the Shanghai Metro, which services Line 13 and opened on December 19, 2015. The station is located near the Shanghai Natural History Museum.

The Shanghai Natural History Museum (Chinese: 上海自然博物馆; pinyin: Shànghǎi Zìrán Bówùguǎn; Shanghainese: Zånhae Zyzoe Pohvehguoe) is a museum dedicated to natural history in the city of Shanghai. It is one of the largest museums of natural sciences in China. Formerly housed in the Shanghai Cotton Exchange Building, the museum was moved to a purpose-built site in the Jing'an Sculpture Park in 2015.
